Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non addictive, gender neutral celebration of the summer solstice holiday practised with the most enjoyable traditions of religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practise religious or secular traditions at all.

I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2012, but not without due respect for the calendar of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make our country great (not to imply that Australia is necessarily greater than any other country) and without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

Hi Kim
Welcome to our chat thread. We are all pretty quiet at the moment probably because it is only 1 more day until Christmas. The big man flies tonight!
I am in Brisbane. Where in Oz are you!

I'm sorry for "barging in" here on the Aussie Thread but I saw Jackie's name and hadn't "seen" her in a long time!

Just wanted to wish Jackie and all the Aussie Friends a very Merry Christmas! Enjoy your day. I am on the East Coast of the US so we are getting into the last couple hours of Christmas Eve here! Soon off to bed to wait for Santa!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I hope you all had a lovely day... I'm just about to stick my spoon into a big slice of pavlova with cream, strawberries and bananas... thought I'd better jump in and wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Kim, were you Kim Olley on the old mb? I think I remember you getting married???

I also got the new Adele cd and the David Campbell cd too... and 6 Sizzix bigz dies... oh and the other gifts that I used the "Christmas" excuse on over the past few months like my new stamps, Cricut E2, Grand Calibur and a whole pile of new Spellbinders dies!!!

Great to see some old names popping in *waves at Sewdelish down south*... I agree, it is a pain logging in and a quick browse is all I have time for sometimes!

I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays and you all get to spend quality time with loved ones and friends.

Hi girls, it has been so long since I have been on the MB, but I have been talking to most of you on FB.
I got a heap of cardstock from Spotlight (in Coffs Harbour) for 85cents. Like Bazzil but another brand. I needed black so I got 10 pieces of black and 3 each of lots of other colours, then found some pinks and greens for 60cents per sheet. I also got some Kaisercraft wooden flourishes, DS tape, new daubers, glass christmas baubles, pop dots, quick dry glue, and I think a few other bits that I have forgotten about.

I got my Peg Stamps today and I am looking forward to having a play with them.

I also bought the Adele CD 21 yesterday and played it all the way home from the coast (5 hrs +).

I still have 3 weeks of holiday left and plan on doing a few layouts (fingers crossed).

Before we left for the coast, my eldest brother and his wife called in for a night on their way up to Brisbane. It was night to see them. They live in Newcastle but he works o/s and we don't see him much. Yesterday they were on their way back to Newcastle from Brisbane, down the Pacific Hwy so they called in and had a night with us at Coffs. Was great to see them again!!!

Just keeping this thread BTT..

Hi everyone, looks like it has been very quiet over the holidays.

Just wanted to share with you my 5 min cricut makeover! Yes it really only took 5 min, it is removable and I can change it any time I like.

I have more photos and details on my blog too. Sorry I have had to remove the link from my signature as this site was displaying my email address.

Hi everyone. Thought I should drop in and say hi. I've been doing a little scrapping of late. It's great now both my girls are old enough to know not to touch and I can leave my stuff out so I can take advantage of any spare moment. The only problem I have is my 3 year old loves to sit on my lap. Makes seeing what I'm doing difficult. But it's lovely she wants to join in.

Sew delish, I love your expression. I have a fancy one and I think I like yours MORE!

I've gone a little crazy with shopping of late. Bought lots of stamps, washi tape, more stamps and paper stacks. I'm running out of room to store my stash and my completed pages. It's really frustrating. So that gets me onto the next bit of news. DH and I are looking at buying a new house in a few acres. It might take 2 or 3 years to find the right one but that's okay. It needs to be prefect!
I have two friends turning 30 in the next month so I'm creating humourous cards for them. They are two of my closest friends. One is having a dress up party. I have to go as something starting with s. so it's either a stripper or sniper. The girls are dressing up. DD2 is going as snow white. and DD1 has permission to go as a ballerina.

Anyway. Best go spend some time with my girls before school starts on Monday!

Happy crafting everyone
