Hi all.

Chrissie - I bought my Foil-It machine direct from PatsyMay (the distributor) and I think it's still post free. If you go to any of the exhibitions, she goes there as well.

Been a glorious day here today - a bit too hot to sit in though - kept nipping in/out for drinks etc. Forecast is for it to break up Wednesday I think Glare

Nite all

Hi all, hope you are all well
Chrissie,i dont have the foil it machine but do have a craft dragon,it was a learning curve for me and there were times when i wanted to throw it out the window but i contacted craft dragon for advice and now i love it,you can hot foil, set rhinestones and ink stamp with it but i know they are going to bring out loads more attachments so it is future friendly and it's british made.
Copic's still not arrived,a bit annoyed now, supposed to be coming by citipost so have no tracking details, will have to give it until the end of the week before calling c+c,hopefully wont have to.
Pauline, what set of copic's did you order? I just ordered the 36 set as i dont have any of those colours, will take my collection up to 67 pens.
Graham and Dan still not talking,Mel and i went to Dan's this afternoon and had a lovely time playing with Izzy, sitting in the garden catching some rays,Izzy asked for grandad,i felt really bad then.Wish they would sort things out.
I sold some more stuff this evening, another £40 to go towards paying off my c+c account so i'm pleased with that,my craft room does'nt seem to have any more space though!
Need to get some sleep so will say goodnight nowSleep

Hi all .. I thought you might want to know what happened seeing as Provocraft still havent bothered responding!

Seeing as I had done everything I could think of to get the machine to print black, I went to the expense of ordering another ink. I then saw the expiry date was May and thought oh hell. Anyway, I put it in and I cleaned the heads and then I went to print something. Firstly it asked me to align the ink heads so I proceeded to do this. I knew straight away that it was probably the ink now as it had much more black on it than the one from the weekend.

I printed out my flag from buccaneer again and yay, it was black and not blue .. doesnt appear to be a solid block mind but it could need time to come through properly but much improved from before.

I cannot believe that the inks go that quickly, especially if you dont use them. Suppose the answer is I need to use it more and if it happens again, at least I know its the ink next time!

Thanks for everyones input though .. I can now scrap at the weekend BigGrin

Evening all,
Its been a lovely day here in Somerset yet again, although we had about 30 mins of rain, it seemed to clear the air a bit!!
Hope every who is going away for the bank holiday has a great time and the weather is kind - shame it wasnt last weekend like it usually is because the weather would have been fantastic! We are holding a 'street' party on the park on Sunday afternoon/evening so are now getting ready for that. This is always one of the busiest bank holidays of the year for us, so doubt i will get much crafting time ! Cannt grumble really because i get quite a lot during the quieter months!!

We have changed the fairy lights that go around our bar to red / white & blue ones, which looks great and i am off to find some crowns and the like on the cricut to cut some vinyl out for the windows!

I keep seeing things on C&C that i fancy then think to myself - but you can do that on the cricut if you set your mind to it!! but i never seem to - so do you give in and buy or take yourself to task and use the gypsy or cricut etc and do what you should do??

Have a great weekend all! What you doing to celebrate the Jubilee? anything? or nothing?

Hi Ang,well I would never buy something new that I could do on my Cricut instead. Not only is it a waste of money to me but you need more storage the more you buy. I neither have the money or the space. I like to learn to do something else on my Cricut anyway, after all they are a "considered purchase" so why not use them to the full. The money saved I use for such as card paper and Copics or other things my Cricut can't do. In fact I'm thinking of having a garage sale to sell the stuff I don't need since buying my Cricut.

Good afternoon all, hope you are all well todaySmile
Still no sign of my copic's,at least i know they are on the way i suppose.
My mum had her biopsy this morning, hav'nt heard how she is yet,i hope it all went well, she is nearly 82 years old,my aunt went with her for some support, wish i could have been there for herSad
Graham and Dan still having nothing to do with each other,i wish one of them would make the first move,Graham preferably as he sort of started it but dont think either will back down yet,my mum said she wishes she could bang their heads together, would'nt do any goodLOL
I am not feeling very happy at the moment, too many things going on that are making me sad.
Graham has been saying for weeks that he is going to get a job but dont think he's made much of an effort,i seem to be doing everything and having all the stress too!
Anyway, sorry for being miserable, need to get some job's done in the house before i start the tea

Ann we all have down days. Like you there are things affecting me which I've no control over at all, some days I cope fine, but there are days I feel pretty down. Keeping crafting keeps my mind off things. So does having a jolly good clear out which is what I'm doing today. They say it clears the mind of clutter and I think it does. Looking at the bags of stuff I'm getting rid of my mind should be very clear nowLOL

Hi all. Totally agree re clearouts. Mine has done me a world of good Cool I got rid of a shedload of papers/cards that I've had for yonks (gave them to our Tracy) as I can print most stuff on Imagine now. Agree re buying the readymade stuff on C&C - I'm also "converting" my stash into Cricut makes.

Ann - I'm so sorry you're feeling low. To be honest, there's nothing anybody can do re Graham and your son - it'll have to run its course and I'm sure they'll get together in the end. I had the same problem with Roger and Mark. They pressed each other's buttons something chronic and came very close to blows on a few occasions. Now they're apart they get on much better. Hope it sorts itself out soon for youWub Wub

Well, bank account is now sorted out. Everything seems to have been transferred. Don't you just hate it.

Bye for now. Tea calling.

My clear out has done me good even though I've not finished as I actually started and finished a card whoo hooLOL I've posted it in the card thread.

At least when the move happens we will have less to sort out as I've been quite ruthless but as I said it really does feel good. I beavered away all morning so rewarded myself this afternoon by crafting.

It's been another wet day but it does look brighter now so here's hoping for a good weekend.

Hope you are all well, have a good evening.

Hi all - a bit grey here today and hopefully it'll rain really bad after about 8pm tonight when my so-called "neighbour" has one of her orgies in the back garden! We can but hope.

Ann - I also sent for the 36 pack of Copics - have yours come yet. Sure hope so.

Not doing much today. I reckon it's a night with Harry Potter tonight, along with some popcorn, as there's nothing at all on TV that doesn't relate to the Jubilee, and I'm certainly not interested in that!

Adele - thanks for asking about my foot - it's still attached and damn painful. Got an appointment for ultrasound on 14th June, to see what the other lump is about, so should know somat after that. Still on 24/7 pain relief that's not doing anything at all.

Bye for now.

Afternoon all, hope you are all well.
I am going to my mum's in Newquay tomorrow, coming back tuesday,as i need to be back for work that evening, went and got train tickets this morning,a spur of the moment decision suggested by Graham and Mel as i have been so down recently due to lots of stuff going on,Graham gave me the cash for the ticket!!,think he just wants to get rid of me for a few days as i keep nagging him to sort things out with Dan!,seriously i think i need a break even though it's only a short one and it will be good to see mum and my aunt may as both have had had poor health recently, mum still not good, she had 2 biopsy's on thursday, waiting for the results.I wont take my laptop as i wont get any internet at mum's so wont be on for the next few days.
Pauline,i am getting royally peed off now with c+c,copic's still not arrived, apparently they were only sent on 30th may,i ordered them 15 days ago,not good enough in my book, hopefully they will be here on wednesday,if not might cancel and get my money back, not had very good service from them recently.
Graham and Dan still not speaking, tried to talk some sense into Graham yesterday but got nowhere,he does'nt think he has anything to apolagise for,so i'm going to give up now and stop wasting my breath.
Anyway all, must go and sort out my clothes and what i'm taking to mum's,babysitting this evening at Dan's so wont have time later.Happy craftingSmile

I posted a card on the cards thread this morning after finishing it but this afternoon no crafting as I've been enjoying the lovely scenes in London. I guess I have to admit I'm a royalist but there are 2 of them I dislike intensely. Although I won't say I bet you can guess LOL I'm cooking now but I can hear what's going on.

It's not such a bad day here although it's very cold.

Hope you are all having a good weekend.

Hiya - have been using embroidery machine all afternoon to get away from the TV. Have to admit I'm not a Royalist I'm afraid.

Managed to embroider 2 T Shirts for Son in law for his hols. Garfield would you believe BigGrin Not come out as good as I'd hoped - the outline seemed to go astray and I reckon it's the card I've been using. Not up to my usual standard Crying but there it is. More on the cards for tomorrow - am in the mood again and it's somat I can do sitting down. Got a shedload of Tshirts for meself to embroider.

Also, had an email from somebody to say there was over 50 FREE files to download for use on the Cameo - so downloaded them as well Cool Am well pleased.

Bye for now.

Hi Pamela. Yes, I do use the Cameo a lot. It's my favourite machine at the moment. I like the Imagine for its printing etc but the Cameo also does print 'n cut. I like the fact that I can choose what images I pay for, rather than having to buy a full cart and not use all the images. It cuts like a dream and I can import designs off the net as well. I'm not into designing myself Blushing ( not really arty) but have a few CDs from really talented people and they're gorgeous. I bought it at NEC last November when it launched and the after sales service from Graphtec is second to none.

At the mo I'm into machine embroidery (again) and will be getting stuck in after brekkie BigGrin As I said, got some Tshirts that need "sorting out" LOL LOL

Very grey here at the mo - again. Never stopped raining yesterday!

Hi Pauline, I have to say I do like the sound of it, I've read reviews online and its impressive. I love the idea that you can cut anything and not be tied to carts. It's worrying when you read on here about how short a life the Cricut can have and after all they are far from cheap. It seems they are not well known for after sales service either once the warranty is gone. I should have read more before buying. Goodness knows what I'd have to sell before affording another machine, dread to think. Anyway when I try to sell I don't have much luck, even at half the price of new for a barely used item.

Have a good day.

Hi there. Well dun you Cool

If you go to the Silhouette.com website, they give freebies away every week. Have you registered your Cameo yet - if not, do it now. Then, go to the Silhouette website and in the search box (top right), type in "Original 50" and it'll give you lots of freebies. Then open your Cameo software on screen, go to "File" and "check recent downloads" and download all the ones you chose. Easi peasi eh?

Have fun

Hi all, hope you are keeping ok.
I just got back from mum's yesterday afternoon and had work last night so i am tired today and have a headache brewing so wont be stopping on here for long.
It was lovely to spend some time with her, wish i could have stayed longer but was glad to get into my own bed last night, very uncomfortable sleeping on the floor and did'nt sleep very well, also mum is up early as most old folk are,but it was worth it to spend some time together.
As i expected, nothing has changed while i was away, boys still not speaking and Graham still has no job,i am starting to worry about finances now as we are desperately low on funds and if things dont improve very soon i dont know what will happen, trying not to worry but it's not easy.
Still no sign of my copic's,i am going to call c+c again i think,i bet they have gone astray somewhere.
I am seriously thinking of getting rid of the imagine now as i need the money but not sure what to ask for it as i have had it for around 18 months so no guarantee and i have loads of carts and accesories, alternatively i could get rid of the E2 as i never use it but that is now out of guarantee too as i bought it at launch in may last year, any advice?
My head is now banging so i shall say bye for now and hope you all have a great day!

Hi Ann - so sorry you're feeling so low Wub Wub Don't know what to advise re your Imagine/E2 or the prices if you sell one of them. Which would you miss the most is my question ??? And sell the other one, but as for price - haven't got a clue.

Is it you, Ann, who's going to Florida later? Or have I got my wires crossed again. If so, somat to look forward to. I've just paid for EuroDisney this morning and that hurt my bank account. Had to declare Roger's BP on the medical insurance again so another £10. Should be good this year though, as it's the 20th anniversary.

As for Graham and your son - well - we all know how stubborn men can be RollEyes and there's no talking to them eh?

Is it possible for you to find an outlet to sell your cards ??? Might be an idea. Would peeps at work be interested?

As for me - I'm sooooo glad the Jubilee is well and truly over - hopefully RollEyes Am sick to death of all the hype. Might get a bit of decent telly now - albeit inbetween Euro 2012 Football OhMyGod

Bye for now

Hi allSmile Expect most of you are in bed, lucky people!
Sorry for being so grumpy earlier,i know lot's of you have your own problems and dont need to hear mine.
I am going to keep my machine's for now but think if i have to i will get rid of the E2 as i do use the imagine all the time and i would never get another one.
Pauline,it's not me going to Florida unfortunately, would love a holiday anywhere right now but not on the cards this year, must'nt complain, did have a week in spain in february.
I am going to try and get some crafting done tomorrow, need to escape for a bit and there's no better way, still hav'nt used the felting machine and have had it 18 days!,hope it works ok.
I read that Sue Wilson has some Spellbinders shows on c+c on 14th june, maybe her new dies?,cant afford them anyway but will make sure to watch.
Anyway all, going to watch a bit of tv and then go to bedSleep

Hi everyone, hope you all enjoyed the long weekend? I had my parents down and my FIL which as nice we had a BBQ on Saturday and then Sunday mum,me and the grils trooped off to London to try and see the boats knowing full well we wouldn't see a thing, but as its only half an hour on the train we went to soak up the atmosphere i felt it was important to make it memorable for the girls as they would probably never see anything like it again as the schools have done nothing like when I was at school for the silver jubilee!! anyway we didn't see a thing but enjoyed the day and made a date with mum to go back again to take her to some museums or knowing mum it'll be one she can stand for hours taking it all in, baffles me a bit once you've looked at something you've looked at it no need to stand there for hours! but each to their own I say!!!

Anyway, sorry to hear of your troubles Ann hope things improve soon. Just a thought about your finances can you not send the felting machine back and get a full refund seen as though it's not used, also I would sell the E2 first I think probably more demand for it and you have a little cricut dont you so if you keep the imagine you have the larger size and a smaller one. Also I've sold loads of little bits and pieces on a certain site and made quite a bit of cash it's amazing how much people will pay for stamps and things obviously not as much as you did originally but close especially the Stampin up sets and lilly of the valley etc. Just a thought.

Hope everyone else is doing well? Pauline how is the embroidery going it is addictive once you get started!!!

Hi all. Nice to see you Beth. How's the quilting going.

The embroidery's going fine. As you say, it's addictive - once I get started, there's no stopping me and the kitchen looks like a bomb site!

Got a busy week coming up next week. Just had a call from Physio Dept - got physio on my poor foot next Tuesday - that should be fun as the "extra" lump we found is really painful, so if she catches that, she'd better shift quick methinks. Then Wednesday, Dentist OhMyGod , then Ultrasound Thursday. Should be a fun time.

Ann - agree with your choice to get rid of E2 (if you have to) You'd regret selling the Imagine I reckon. Even with all its faults RollEyes

Bye for now

Pauline x

Afternoon everyone, hope you are having a good daySmile
It's a very dreary day here, raining and dull, british weather at it's bestLOL perfect for crafting.
I called c+c and they said my copic's will be here by the end of the week but post has been already today and no sign,i am so fed up waiting for them now.
Elizabeth, thanks for the suggestion about sending back the felting machine,i might just do that,if i got rid of the E2 i would still have an expression as i have a pink one that Graham bought me last year when i was'nt very happy with the E2,also have the black create and imagine so would be covered.
Pauline,i think you are right about keeping the imagine, hopefully i will be able to keep all my machine's.
I had the Hey diddle diddle cart for sale on a certain selling website but time is almost up and no sale,i am surprised as it is a lot cheaper than the other person selling the same cart, obviously it's not a cart in demand, got my son to put it on his account and he does'nt have 100% good feedback so that may be another reason it has'nt sold, might get him to put it on my account instead and see if that makes a difference.
Anyway all,not much else to put right now so i shall wish you all a great day and happy crafting!

The Hotels are booked too, so hard to get a place with the Olympics coming up, some family members staying at each of my Brother's houses, the rest in Hotels scattered all over BrightonHuh Oh well I'm sure we'll all have a great timeBigGrin
