Our power went out around 11:30pm tonight so I'm logging in from my phone which is not the most convenient to type from either

Suevan911: thanks for the pretty sketches. I visit Unscripted Sketches once in a while too

sunnieday: I think you just beat your personal best when it comes to posting "early" with your pretty card. You're doing really well with the Imagine. I can't wait to see what you've mastered a year from now. Great colors on your card

SHELBYWOO: awesome cards! You know I LOVE cards that open up different than the normal way. Is that a feather I see? The flowers are gorgeous and the swirly stamp is perfect with it! Super pretty!

SueVan:
Thanks for hosting this week. I really like the sketches, they all inspired me to make some very dainty and girlie cards...lets see what I can come up with!

Sunnie:
You must have ESP!! LOL! That was really quick posting! I like the colors you picked, the borders are nice. The whole card has a watercolor-look to it....really nice.

Shelby:
Your card is very pretty. Like the unique way the card opens up. You did a great job with the flowers, like the nice touch with the feather....love the colors! Isn't it great to have a Mentor? It's so much fun to be able to spend a day and craft away with another person. Nice that you and Sandy live close by. NanaDonna has taught and helped me so much with my cards, she is just awesome, and only a few minutes away!

Sunnieday, wow, you really were on top of things this time! Sue posted, and it seemed like there was a card from you shortly after that! It is a wonderful card! Love all the colors you put on this card!

ShelbyWoo, you know how I feel about your cards! Love them! BigGrin I had more fun teaching you yesterday than anything! It was a blast!!! I keep saying though, these pictures don't do the cards justice! They are even more beautiful in real life! Wish everyone could see them for what they really look like!

Ok, I wanted to try and do a different look, and stretched sketch 2 a tad, lol! I was inspired by going over Michelle's house yesterday! At the corner of her housing area was all these big cats tails! I loved it! (Shelby, I used my brayer, and dauber for this card)!

Here is the Ad colors for the week... thanks to CarolynDeline for posting it. Here is the direct link: Ad Inspiration Challenge #93

SHELBYWOO: have fun shopping! I placed myself on a "craft" spending ban... at least until I run out of some stuff (like adhesives)

SandyPalmer: wow... LOVE the effect. Very pretty card! I don't have a brayer rolly thingy... one of these days I might just try it

Well Hello Ladies,
I have been looking every week at the lovely cards you have all been posting, I just couldn't get myself in to gear. However today has been bright and no jobs needing doing so after I saw Sue's lovely sketches I needed to make a card. So here it is.
I used sketch 2 as a guide. gingham paper, stamp is off Verve stamps (xmas gift)used big'n'juicy then embossed in clear. A little HOTP star paper, buttons from stash the cord is waxed to make the petals (had that a while too) sentiment is off a Woodware set also Xmas gift. TFL

Sue

The photo's make the stamp look unclear but it is in real life.

Here is my sketch 2. It also is from a couple different Imagine carts. Yes, it is a bit of a challenge using it, but it is not because of what it can do, it is because of what it cant yet.
I can use my gypsy to design, but I would have to use colored paper and cut the image just like with the expression. In order for me to cut and print with the imagine, I have to use color and image from one of the imagine carts.
It does get a bit frustrating at times because when you do cut from the imagine, you cannot measure the width, just the length and you cant move the object around, it goes where it wants to. When they do another update, Im hoping this fixes this. Im not used to cutting without my gypsy. That is the most frustrating to me. LOL

So here is my sketch 2.
