ShelbyWoo,
Thanks for Hosting this week, Carty picked some really nice sketches. Question: The holiday card...are we to use Sketch #3 for it, pick one or make a 4th card??Confused Hoping to get them done soon.
Love your layouts, Baby ones are so fun because there are so many really cute printed papers and embellishments to pick from. The last one is my favorite, although they are all very nice!

DeeScraps,
Thanks for the nice Ad Color combo for this week. I see a nice guy card coming to my mind all ready!! And, thanks again for posting them early...helps me decide which sketch to use them on.BigGrin

LisaW.
Last Week #1 - Cute cat card! Love the black and torquoise, and the way you cut the free-form frame. I remember back in the '50's that very cat was a big fad. You saw him everywhere from pictures, to bedding to stuffed animals, and figurines. Much like you see Chef and Tuscan decor in kitchens today...such as in my kitchen!Laugh Laugh

My Sketch #1 Card:

Circle - Paper Trimmings Cartridge
Embossing - Swiss Dots CB Folder
Happy B'Day - Stick-on Shadowbox filled with little silver stars
Printed Paper - From Michael's Recollection called "Cupcake"
The border is vellum that I punched with MS Hearts Punch and slightly inked with Pink Stamp Ink. Added pink Bling to the Hearts. The pink squares cardstock has a sheen to it and didn't post very well, sorry.

Hi LADIES!
I'm on a mission today...I've had the day all to myself, so am trying to get ALL three sketches done by tonight! Have my DGD and DGS to watch tomorrow, so have ironing and house cleaning to do Friday and Saturday...fun, fun, right?!Laugh Laugh

My Sketch #2 Card in the Ad Colors:
Sentiment - Rubber Stamp that I used a water-color pencil on to fill in.
Border - EK Punch
Used the negatives from the punch as embellishments, added Skittles, and some ribbon to the border. Sorry, no Cricut!Sad

Here is the invitation I have been spending all my time on. I re-did it over 10 times not because my daughter wanted me to, but because I wanted to do something different with it. My daughter got to the point where she said ma.. DONT CHANGE IT AGAIN. LOL

Hi to all,

Here is my card for sketch #1. I needed a card for my uncle so I chose to use this sketch. I CB the background paper but hand cut all the others except the SB fancy sq. The image is on vellum so I mounted it on to white to pop it and then on to a bit of gold mirri card then added that on with pop dots to give some hight. DH took the photo and said the light kept bouncing off the mirri so he had to turn it slightly. TFL

Wow a lot of fabulous cards already.

Well I told you that #3 was my favorite so I started there. I wanted to do something with my new Artiste cartridge and some new papers that will be in the new catalog. The paper is from a paper pack called La Belle Vie, I just loved the colors and patterns in this pack. The only Cricut is the pink button on the front, it is cut from the Artiste cartridge 5 times then all glued together to make it dimensional. Oh ya and the black ribbon/banner was also cut from Artiste, it is stamped with Versa Mark but you can't see it too well in the photo. The stamp (thinking of you) if from Casual Expressions stamp set

Here is a closer look at the button

I didn't follow the sketch exactly but here is my interpretation of it. The flourish is where the trim goes and the ribbon / sentiment is where the horizontal panel goes. Does that make sense?

OK here is my sketch #2 - so happy with the way the banner came out!
The banner was cut from the new CTMH Artiste cartridge then stamped with one of the
happy birthday stamps that comes in the bundle. It fits perfectly and I even stamped it
straight Drool Ten i mounted it on one ff the pieces of chipboard that also comes in the
bundle.

This cartridge is so so awesome!

DeeScraps, I feel so bad, I always seem to forget to thank you for posting those amazing color challenges you have ready for us every week! Thank you sooo much!

Joanneorbash, that has to be the most cheerful Christmas card I have ever seen! I love that snowflake, and of course that polka dot paper!

NanaDonna, very classy sketch 3 card! The colors you chose, the papers, etc, it really is a very beautiful card! What a fun birthday card! I really do love that banner, and your polka dot paper! Love the button for the cherry on top too!

Sunnieday, ok, your card really did put a smile on my face! It's so fun looking with all those happy faces!

Raquel, ooh, lovely sketch 2 card! Love how you border punched the corner! Love how you made your sentiment, and that big flourish! So pretty!
