Happy 4th July to you all.As you may know this challenge runs for 7 days and is open for anyone to join in. I offer you 3 sketches which you can follow or just pick the bits out that go well on the card for you. We only ask one thing that you come back and show us what you have done. If you like you can do all 3 or if time is short just do one. I do have an extra choice for you in-case you don't want any of the above and that is to do a card that includes a sport that will be seen and medals won at the Olympic's this year held over here in the UK, you could just include the Olympic rings. Well here are the sketches. The first 2 are from pagemaps.com and the third is Tuesday Morning Sketches. As I mentioned last week I am in the middle of having my bathrooms refitted so I have no samples ready to show you yet but I am working on it. Have fun and looking forward to seeing your cards. Sue, thanks for hosting! Great set of sketches!!! Sorry about the mix up on your birthday! I do know that your birthday is tomorrow, on the 5th! I did get the first sketch done! All I could see is a Christmas tree trailing down for the tags! I don't feel like I quite pulled off the sketch, and I don't feel like it is a very good card anyway, but I did get one card done, lol! Here is my first card this week. It uses sketch 3. It is an order for a girl in work to give her friend. The card is A5 in size and uses up some free papers along with some paper flowers I have had a wee while. The sentiment is a rub on from Kaisercraft and I used Spellbinders, afraid no Cricut on this card , I will do better next time. TFL Sue Edited by user Wednesday, July 04, 2012 8:05:20 AM(UTC)

Dee - Lovely mix of colours for us all to use, Thank You. Thank You for the birthday wishes, I am 49 so the big one next year!! Hope you are all having a wonderful day. Sue

Sandy #1 - When I first saw this sketch it looked like it was going to be really hard for me to try to interpet into a card. But, you did a great job with it, hope I can do it justice, also!! Love the Christmasy colors and the Poinsettia with the flourish. Very nice card.
AcrossThePond#3 - LOVE all the Browns and flowers. Like the flourish and great sentiment. Very pretty.
cstanzione Client's Project - What a great job you did for this lady, I can see why she absolutely loved it!! May be the start of a new career for you???!! Sorry, but I already have all the folders you are selling. Hope you get some buyers for them.
Very wet in Tucson today....Our 4th of July fireworks all over town will probably fizzle out, for sure!!

Sneaking in for a little bit during our 4th of July celebration. The police came by to check out what kind of fireworks we have... hah hah (they claimed one of our neighbors complained about the noise, which they've never had for the last 10 years we've lived here)... it's illegal to have fireworks in Florida except during certain holidays and still illegal for some fireworks to be used completely
The police gave hubby a warning and said we can only have sparklers... hah hah!AcrossThePond: thanks for hosting and the wonderful sketches. I will try to get to these soon. Beautiful sketch 3! Is the sentiment a stamp? SandyPalmer: beautiful interpretation of sketch 1... very clever! Love this DeeScraps: thanks for the colors... OH MY! That is quite a bit of colors but will definitely try to get this one done *NanaDonna*: oh I'm so sorry to hear about your a/c problem. I know exactly how that feels and it gets hot pretty quick inside the house here... you being in Texas... I can relate cstanzione: more beautiful layouts... love love love those intricate black frames! You do such gorgeous work with those. Oooh a layout with feathers! Hah hah! Love that one Turtlebug: sorry about your wet 4th of July... hopefully it clears out by the time you have fireworks Edited by user Thursday, July 05, 2012 10:20:20 AM(UTC)

My # 1 and ad colors I didn't have green so I used lime green and of course my new embossing folder. # 3 I used Sentimentals cart. And the sentiment is a one of the stamps that Nana Donna bought me. This two SILaws are the greatest, Turtlebug bought me some dish towels, when they went to Colorado, cause they missed me. BingoLady attached the following image(s):

cstanzione: ooh love the background paper you used... very pretty card and great colors
BingoLady: wow... I really like that embossing folder! I haven't seen that but I'll definitely keep my eye out for that one. Great job on the Ad colors. Very pretty anniversary card and love the colors on that one
Comments for the cards I missed last week:
daveshunny: beautiful card with all the flowers and pearls... love the background paper you used
cstanzione: love the flower and flourish you used... the shiny metallic purple is really pretty. Great Happy 4th card... that is a cute silhouette
*NanaDonna*: great patriotic card... love the embellishments you used especially the banner
LisaW.: great set of cards! Love all the different cuts you used for all 3 cards... the red shoe is my favorite!
Gisele: beautiful cards... love all 3 but my favorite is the baby card... SO cute! Yes, I did follow a tutorial on how to make those tiny little flowers and I'll share the link when I find it again

SueThank You for all the wishes xx I think the police were just looking to confiscate something but they didn't. They ended up just giving a warning. We knew it wasn't the neighbors since later that night (a few hours later)... the neighbors were right out there with hubby lighting up fireworks
The rub on stamp is quite lovely! I didn't think it was computer generated, if it was, it had to be an image. I also didn't think it was a stamp because... well... it's just too clean? LOL... I'm not sure if that's the correct word I'm looking for
