Hi there, Well it is my turn to host again and I have 3 sketches for you to check out. Feel free to make as many as you wish but remember the sketches are only for guidence feel free to flip them or even leave things out if they don't fit in to your design. The only thing we ask is that you come back and show us what you have been up to. We would love to see some new faces and of course some old friends too. I do have an extra credit option for you and that is to make one embelishment on the card and it goes without saying on my host that there must be atleast one cut from your Cricut on each card. Have fun...... SueAcrossThePond attached the following image(s):

Have fun...... Sue Ok, just so I have this extra credit clear... we are to "make" our own embellishment right? For example, make our own flowers? Please say yes! LOL! I've been on this kick on making my own crushed flowers and making my own mini roses. This would be a great challenge to work on those

Sandy - Wonderful card using Scoop from Bob the Builder childrens show from over here in the late 90's, you'd all love the accents. Love the papers you chose they do go well with the ad colour challenge too. Anyone would think you'd got a sneek peek . Both Sandy and I needed a card for a young person so you'll see my attempt soon mine is not as good I fear.
Shelby - That is a lovely gift for your friend. Dee - Thanks for the ad colours, my card from last week would have fitted this one. Raq - Yes it could be a flower, just something you have made by hand and not just cut from the Cricut. Hope everyone has fun with this. SueEdited by user Wednesday, April 25, 2012 2:16:59 AM(UTC)

Here is my card using sketch 1. It is for an order, had to be pink with glitter and shiny stuff all over but most of all it needed Jimmy Choo style shoes!! I picked up a pack of die cut shoes from a show but they were the wrong colour so I made a templete of both parts and made my own, so that is my extra credit bit along with using PS to cut the 3 ovals for the sentiment. The card is a A5 one, all the papers are from my stash. The handmade pink I have had for 8 years!! Sorry the photo is a little dark, irl it's bright. Sue – Thanks for hosting and the sketches – looks like we’ll have fun this week! Wow! Such an elegant card for a young lady! Love the Jimmy Choo!! The purses, roses, butterflies are all so pretty! Love the paper that you chose too – the pink looks like crushed velvet (can’t believe you’ve had for 8 years ) and the white is nice and glittery! Dee – Thanks for the ad colours! Sandy – Great card for Sketch #1 – love the shading and colouring of the image! Nice details with the faux stitching and buttons. I’m sure Landon will be pleased to receive this card! Shelbywoo – Nice shadowbox for your friend – the flowers look wonderful!

DeeScraps, thanks for putting up the ad colors! Wow, how did I get so lucky and make a card without even realizing it is the ad colors, lol!
Michelle, your friend will treasure having her father's picture up, and it is so nice of you to make and give to her! She will love it!
Raquel, you are so sweet for always thinking of others and taking care of us with all the events that are coming up!
Sue, that is one stylish card! So girly and feminine! She is going to love it! I can't believe you made those shoes yourself! Great job on it! Love everything about the card!

Hi, This is going to be quick as I am on my way to work in 10 mins. I tried to post this afternoon but got bounced off after typing. So this time I'll be brief. This card is for an order, a little guy who has a name that you don't see in shop bought cards and he loves diggers and trucks. The card is again a A5 in size. That backing paper is one of those you don't know quite why you picked it up!! I have had it for a few years now and the backside is the same but smaller. TFL SueP.S. ment to say it isn't following any sketch just wanted to share Edited by user Wednesday, April 25, 2012 10:35:34 AM(UTC)

AcrossThePond: WOW... Love this card! You certainly have a talent of making whimsical cards elegant. YAY! You made your own shoes and those are so nice! Ooooh, love the printed papers on your "Caleb" card. So cute and so is the tractor
britishgirl: you posted your card in last week's challenge after the new challenge came out, so I'm not sure a lot saw it. Love the combination of black and white. The polka dots broken up by the large black panel is a great touch. Very pretty card

Ok, this doesn't follow any of the sketches but I made it after I saw the Ad colors so I thought I'd share. It's for a Cricut Fairy mission for a special Olympian who won a silver medal
I don't even have this up on my blog yet and the only Cricut here are the welded stars at the bottom from Wild Card

Sketch 1 in this week's Ad colors I totally "scrap-lifted" SandyPalmer's faux stitching and buttons on her banners from her sketch 1 card. I hope she doesn't mind
I'm actually amazed at how much texture and dimension faux stitching can add to a project. I'll have to do this again! Details on my blog

Sue – great card for your client! I like the choice of paper it works really well with the bulldozer! My DS is 18 now but certainly would have loved a card like that! The straight forward shapes are sure to please the young boy!
BingoLady – wonderful card for your dear family members that serve your country! Love the stars that are offset!
RAQ – great "Congrats" card in the ad colours! Nice welding of the stars! Love your card for Dad! The faux stitching does look really good – maybe with you and Sandy using it, I will need to try it soon! Great additions with the buttons! I will be posting cards separately – I had a full day in my craftroom! Woohoo!

Here's my card for Sketch #2 in the ad colours - I used a variety of blues so I hope this still counts Cricut used: Rock Princess for the "princess", Sweet Treats for the flower frame and Elegant Edges for the happy birthday frame. Sorry no handmade embellishments on this card! Edited by user Wednesday, April 25, 2012 5:09:46 PM(UTC)

I did them all! Here's Sketch #3 - a thank you card for my DD to give her manager. Cricut - Ornamental Iron 2 for the "merci" frame. Cindy Loo for the middle part of the flower. The flower is an extra credit! The inner part is using Tim Holtz tissue tape, the next part is a fabric flower using Cindy Loo on tan material that has been stamped and then ruched by hand stitching and then the outer part is lace that has been stitched. The top part of the card was embossed then inked with Vintage Photo distress ink and then I added a few pearls and gems. Gisele attached the following image(s):
