Sorry, I can't help you. I am very old fashioned and need to hold the cart in my hand and insert and cut and let it gather dust. I'm not in a big enough city that I would count on saving space and relying on the internet to always be up and running.
Have fun!!

Of those retired ones posted I would say these are MUST haves:
Block party (nothing else like this one) billionaire (cool font) paper pups (just cool) stone script (i love fonts) tags bags boxes and more zooballo (very useful and has a font to boot)
Now of course I already have most of them on the list but the above are ones I would pick if i had to pick 6. Jolly holidays too if you don't have it. Its impossible to find in stores.

In my opinion A Child's Year, Camp Out, and Christmas Noel are especially nice since they can be used for so many different things.

I did not notice Snow Friends on the list. That is a cute seaonal snowman cart, that is pretty hard to find now. I missed that one, so I bought it as a digital cart. Nice to have it to use on my Gypsy. If you do cards or pictures of babies or young ones, New Arrival has some great images. I like Inspired Heart for cards, and that one has been on Ebay recently for less than 15.00. If you like that cart, you might try looking on Ebay. 50 States is a great card. It has lots of birds and flowers. Lots of nice images on this cart!

Once you purchase a digital cart it is linked to your Cricut.com account. It will automatically appear as linked in CCR (if you had CCR open when you purchased the cart, close it and reopen it). Then the next time you sync your Gypsy those carts will also appear as linked. The only exception is if you purchase a cart that has been released since the previous Hello Thursday Gypsy update. Those carts won't appear on your Gypsy until the next Hello Thursday update when the new carts are added to the Gypsy library. The new carts will still be available in CCR though.

Yes, it still asks you which Cricut you want to use, but the digi carts work on all the Cricuts. I haven't heard of any rewards points problems. The purchase rewards (1 point for ever $1 spent or 2 points if you're in the Cricut Circle) are added instantly. The actual rewards points for the cartridges generally can take a couple of weeks to be added. When you purchase a digital cart just logout of CCR and log back in and your cart will show as linked.

If only I would've known a year and half ago how many people wanted this cart. I was new to the message board but I bought mine from an online store on eBay for 25.00 free shipping snow friends that is. I don't think I've even used it once and if I did I used my peachy keen face stamps on it instead of what it came with it to cut out. I swear if I ever find it for that price again I'll buy them all for you wonderful ladies!

Sorry for the silly question, but you mentioned Purchase Points? What are these? Are they only for digital carts? How do you use them? Where do you register them? I was only aware of Reward Points....am I missing out on something here?

I would recomend New Arrival, this cart is a "must have" and very usable for many things. I wanted it for ever and now that I have it in CCR and in my G, what a bargin. Yes I have been waiting for the rewards site to "fix" the points on the purchase of this cartridge but I wrote to them and they are going to get it straight. I only got the points for the purchase Cricut.com and not the stated 90 rewards points, the rewards site wrote me back directly and said it could take 4-6 weeks to be adjusted. Still waiting but I know it will be fixed, the Pooh carts always have.

Hi Godot's Girl,
I think that the purchase points are earned when you place an order directly from cricut.com. They are converted into your rewards points. I bought a cartridge last October for $21. I received the reward points as well as 21 points for my purchase.

Pam You're right Pam. Everyone earns one point for each dollar spent on cricut.com and Circle members earn two points for each dollar spent on cricut.com and this is in addition to the points that come "inside" the cart. But, you have to have your rewards account linked to your cricut.com account. To check, go to cricut.com, log in, go to My Account and then click on the Rewards Key tab. If your rewards info isn't there, you can enter it.

I don't see the Easter 2010 cart on the list, or the Mother's Day 2010, or the Love Struck cartridge on there. I guess the seaonal ones must be discontinued and that is why PC does not put them on the retired cart list. These are great carts and very hard to find. Pretty expensive on Ebay. If you like these carts, digital may be the mose affordable way to find them. Sorry to keep adding more to the list to buy, but they are on sale, and are really nice carts.
