Not sure what is lueon wood? is it a really thin wood? I wouldnt try to cut wood on my machine the blade wouldnt hold up very long.

I think luan is usually 1/4 inch thick and that's too thick to feed through the Cricut. Here's a list of usual media and thicknesses the Cricut can cut:
