First time on message boards, but my frustrations are running on high.
I have this great machine I bought several years ago, but only used it a couple of times... and I do mean only a couple of times.
Now that I really want to use it a lot, I'm having troubles. All of my older carts work just fine....but I have a new one, Art Philosophy from Close to My Heart. It say's Cartridge comm error, try restarting, then it goes to : insert cartridge.
I updated the firmware to 2.1 still no luck. Called Provo, they sent me a new cart.... same thing. Took both to another machine.... they both work! Just not in mine. I reinstalled the firmware to 2.34... no luck. I re-set the machine per provo craft instructions.
Still nothing. It's just not recognizing the cartridge. Cricut is again sending me another replacement cart. But.... HELP
What am I doing wrong. Any suggestions?

the 2nd one i got wouldn't work either. they talked me through a "hard reset" i think it was called and it works fine now!!! one of the bug guides could give you a link to the instructions.

 Thanks! I did try the hard re-set... still no luck. (crazy thing) Any other ideas?
