I would like to know if you can use the expression to download CCR desktop version for PC.

Thanks You don't use the Expression to download CCR. You can download it to your computer from here: http://craftroom.cricut.com/bet...ram/cricut-craftroom.exeOnce you have it installed open it and Login. You may be prompted to update the firmware on your Expression before you go to cut for the first time. You may also need to install the Expression Drivers on your computer. You do that from within CCR via the Help menu, Install Drivers, Cricut Expression Drivers.
