Hi Everyone, Sorry I'm a little early but I won't be able to post tonite so you can all get a jump on the new sketches. I usually design my own sketches but I didn't have time so I'm picking some of my favorite sketches I have see on the internet from time to time. I will be playing along with you as I don't have any finished cards to show you at this time so have fun no stressing. Everyone welcome to join just remember to post your pics for all to share. Well ENJOY! There's 3 sketches and 1 extra credit which I would like you all to make a fathers day card. I will attach the cards to this post as I do them. #1 sorry no cricut just a lot of bling bling bling and the add colors to boot. #2 uses Cricut Phrases cart #3 no cricut on #4 used winter woodland for scalloped circle and circle. Extra credit card. Edited by user Friday, April 13, 2012 10:07:37 AM(UTC)

Cindy, thanks for hosting! I had to laugh, I was going to use the first sketch of yours when I host next, lol! I have had the second sketch for a long time now in photobucket, but had never used it yet either, lol! I made a card for sketch 3, but I have to wait for everything to dry before I can take a picture of it!

Cindy....thanks for the great sketches and for posting early. Here are this weeks ad colors and they should prove easier than last week's. LOL. I was never able to come with anything and got so frustrated that I stopped right there. I then started a MAJOR sorting out of all my papers, stamps, cuts, and supplies. I've still got a long way to go! Raquel....Love the card. Your flowers always amaze me. Sandy....very nice card...love the coloring. Enjoy.....Dee [/img]

It felt good to spend some time in my craftroom! Here's my card for Sketch #1 - a 25th anniversary for dear friends. Not too much Cricut - the base silver and white frame is Elegant Edges and the flowers are from the Sweethearts cart (edges were lightly inked in silver and Glimmer Mist in Dazzling Diamonds). Flourish is Tim Holtz (used Versamark and clear embossing powder for shine and strength. The 2 strips are heavy duty aluminium foil on scraps then embossed. The glitter 25 was found in the clearance bin at Michaels. For embellishments - a few pearl hearts and a bit of silver ric rac. Edited by user Tuesday, April 10, 2012 5:41:44 PM(UTC)

RAQ – Wonderful Sketch #2 – Lovely flower (as usual), great embossing and the contrasting paper with the flower and stripes is perfect! I better get back to making a few more Christmas cards this month!
Sandy – You always do such an amazing job with the coloured images! In looking at it closely, it’s interesting how the coloring extends to the edges of the cut-outs of the frame. It looks really good! Lovely choice of background paper! Great flowers and embellishments!
Dee – thanks for the colours!

Here is my sketch #4, I didn't do it as a Fathers Day card. Our granddaughter turned 17 yesterday and she has a Pug so this is the card I made for her, we are going to take her to dinner tonight. Label on the front is cut from Art Philosophy cartridge. Plaid paper is from Jak Heath, not sure if any of your are familiar with her and her blog but she has some awesome papers and things you can print out for free. I just printed this plaid paper on cardstock.

All my kids are sick! I was hoping to get at least one more card done by now. They all had high temperatures on Tuesday night. Bouncing virus from one to another... says the doctor
SandyPalmer: cute and gorgeous at the same time... is that possible? LOL... love this card. Did you make the flowers yourself? That's really pretty. Oh my, another gorgeous card. I love the contrast of the black flourish among all the soft colors and of course, the flowers... melts my heart
DeeScraps: Love the colors... thanks for posting these. I'm sure the only problem I'll have with these colors is which paper to use
Gisele: lovely card... look at all the details! Wow, I see a new detail each time I look at this card. Love it! What a great graduation card. Love the papers and the colors really appeal to me. Have I mentioned I love blues? Navy blue is my favorite!
sunnieday: YAY! You're back and with a great card... those are great colors together and love the flowers
Turtlebug: awesome "dad" card... love that grass background and you did a great job with the silhouette
BingoLady: oooh great "dad" card... loving those flowers you used. Great use of your signature embossing here and love that gingham paper
*NanaDonna*: cute cute cute puppy! You did a great job coloring it and wonderful print job on the paper. Love the scrunch up ribbon... I'll have to try that sometime
joanneorbash: very pretty card... wonderful job with that rosette and very nice you used a fancy trim for it. I really like what you topped it with as well... very unique

cstanzione #3 - Love the colors, sheer black ribbon and all the glitz & glitter. Tiny flowers look so real, did you make them? #2 - Great card, nice color combo, perfect piano keys paper for the sentiment. Love the blingy swirl.
Raquel #2 - Very pretty, love the striped paper, flower and the verigated greenery. Very Christmasy!! Hope kids are all better and you managed to avoid getting sick, too!
SandyPalmer #3 - Very cute, love all the deatils and the double frame. Like how you flipped it and the cute image. #1 - WOW!!... very pretty and so elegant. Pretty BG paper, flowers and sentiment, like how the bold black flourish pops against the soft colors.
DeeScraps, Thanks for the pretty color combo. I used it on my #3 sketch above and it wasn't as hard to bring all the colors together as I first thought it would be. But, it was still sort of challenging!
Gisele #1 - Beautiful anniversary card! So much detail and all put together so well. Love everything about, especially the embossed foil. Your friends will love!! #2 - Very nice Grad card, love the "subjects" paper and the tag. Like the font of the "2012".
Sunnieday #1 - Nice, like the papers and card looks very 3-diminsional. Are those surfboards in the backgound? If they are, you picked the perfect colors for Surf "n Sand!
BingoLady #1 - WOW! Really like this card, great color combo and embossing. The tiny flowers are so cute and like the dark colors against the soft yellow gingham pattern.
NanaDonna Extra Credit Card - So cute! Love the BG paper colors and pattern. Like the little floral brads and the double frame. Puppy looks a little sad, is he missing Emma, too!?
Joanneorbash #2 - Very nice, love the pleated flower and butterfly. Like how you embossed half of the card and used matching pattern paper on the other half.
