Card #2:

Red Foil Cut - CindyLoo Cartridge...I originally had used this red foil cardstock as my base, but it reflected too much when I scanned it or took a picture, so had to re-do the whole card and add the red basecard you see now. And, I was so happy when I found this 12X12, 30 count box of beautiful assorted color foil cardstock at Michael's Clearance bins outside the store...now, not sure if to use it again!!Sad

Frame - Lacy Labels Cartridge, sprayed with gold Perfect Pearls Mist
Corners - Fiskar Punch
Sentiment - Rubber stamp
Added pearls (maybe too many!!?) red ribbon and gold cord, Gold Gel Pen to flower centers, tiny bit of embossing with Leafy Branch CB folder to white cardstock.

Added green/gold ribbon and a yellow gem Brad to flower stem, Bling and gold Perfect Pearl Mist to the Dragonflies and diminsional tape under the flowers for 3-D effect.

This is my "Number" Extra Credit Card:

Number "21" - From a Library card-making book "Quick & Clever Instant Cards" by Julie Hickey
Partyhats - On the "21"...I used a Partyhat rubber stamp and stamped away in Browm and Rust color stamp pad inks all over the blue cardstock. Filled in the partyhat toppers with gold Gel Pen.
Large Partyhat - Celebrations Cartridge. I layered the top swirly and bottom hat trim with light blue glitter cardstock and addd Bling
Sentiment - Beyond Birthday Cartridge, using the "Frame" feature key and added Bling to it, also.

Sorry it is an attachment, but the card measures 8X6", so I think it goes way over the limit for Cricut posting. I made it for my DGS's 21st B'day in NOVEMBER!! I used a template from the card-making book my daughter found and checked out for me at the Library. I'm sure she has to return it someday so I figured I better make it now!LOL LOL Hope I don't forget where I hid it come November!!

Thanks Turtlebug for the wonderful sketches and for hosting this week! Thanks Dee too - those colours will be a challenge but I will give it a try for at least one card!

Turtelbug – You were really busy and did a terrific job for this week! Wonderful Sketch #1 – love the paper, embossed tag and how you used the negative cuts. I like how you placed the strip of paper near the flower leaf! Really nice card! Sorry to hear about your problems with the red foil paper – hope you can find some nice way to use it! Sketch #2 is really pretty too – I don’t think it’s too many pearls! Wow for Sketch #3 - So many great little details – it looks really good!

Shelbywoo – your new craftroom is really coming together nicely. Soooooo many great flowers! I have only a few and that’s why I keep coming up with ways to make new ones!!

I’ve been really busy with work for the past 3 days so it will be nice to create tonight! Looking forward to seeing everyone's great work again this week.

I will post more comments tomorrow.

Here is my Sketch #1. I wasn't sure where to begin so started with selecting paper and then the design. I'm not sure who will get the card or for what occasion. Cricut used Ribbons & Rosettes for borders (grey polka dot and small orange one over tag). Cuttlebug Clockworks (a new folder for me)on the red paper and distressed with Walnut stain.

Hi Ladies!
Makes me happy to hear you are all loving the sketches I chose for you!

ShelbyWoo - Your Craftroom is turning out really nice...nothing like being organized, I always say!

DeeScraps - Thanks for the early Ad Colors for this week. It might be prove to be a challenge for me, better start looking!!

carrottop - Love this bright and "CHEERY" #1 card (NO pun intended!!!LOL LOL). The lime and bright pink really pop! The border really complements the cherry tag very nicely. Love the BG printed paper.

Gisele - Very nice #1 card, great for a guy. The deep-tone colors are so pretty, the gray top one looks like Linen material. I have had the "Clockworks" CB folder for a while and it seems to be my go-to folder when making a guy card, I really like this folder alot. Like the way you inked it, will have to try it next time. Nice details, too!

Thanks Josie love the sketch, and Suevan is right #2 is familiar but oh no long ago.
I think it is from when I first starting doing this challenge, but it is always nice to see such a great sketch make a re-appearance, besides we have so many newbies that have not worked with it. I am looking forward to making a card using it next.

Here is my sketch #1
Papers are from a K & Company stack and the tag is also k & Company.
The border across the center is from the Art Philosophy cartridge which I welded and
crated a shadow in CCR.

BingoLady – Great card for a baby girl! Lovely embossing!

Suevan – another “chef d’oeuvre” – a masterpiece! Love your choice of paper and the solid cream border. Such a lovely card to be treasured!

Sandy – such a great card for a boy! The background paper is so realistic and of course another great image! He’s sure to love it.

NanaDonna – Such a wonderful birthday card! You’re making great use of the Art Philosophy card! I love your choice of paper and all the little details – it all comes together so nicely!
