Do you have the TBBM2 cart? That is what it is used for at this point, until they make more carts to use it with.

TBBM2 is a new cart Tags Bags Boxes and More 2..if you had that cartridge you would notice that it has a scoring feature, that is what that tip is used for, you would score the box first then cut and it would easier to put together. What box are you using the score tip for now?

No it works on TBBM2 and will probably be for future box carts they release.

Has anyone tried to use the scoring tip for embossing?

These guys did: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukgG7u6MHJs

I have also used it for embossing, but this comes with a caveat: it won't be as deep of an impression as you might get with an embossing folder (like with Sizzix or Cuttlebug) and you can only do one image at a time. I tried to do a whole bunch together and there was a line dragged along the paper where the tip moved from one image to the next. Glare It looked nice except for the line between images.

I am not trying to double post. I just took longer to put this video together than I thought I would.

Since Cricut doesn't have any instructions or videos on how to assemble this tip in its housing, I took the liberty of doing so.

Check out on my blog http://lemondropmemories.blogspot.com/ or my youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnUjOr-V-XA (whichever you prefer). I hope this helps everyone out! BigGrin
