Dee - Thanks for the ad colours!
Bingolady - What's this?? You make such wonderful cards too - can't wait to see what you'll do this week!
Sandy - You've been busy with the sketches. Wow! for sketch 1 - it is amazing. Love the cardstock, embellishments and the little angel guy is so adorable. Lovely sketch 2 in the ad colours. Beautiful image, as usual. Wonderful lace embellishment, little flower and pearl accents.
Nanadonna - What a beautiful sketch 2! You did an amazing job with the digital image and lovely pearl additions.
Like Nanadonna, I have a confession to make

. I was working on a card last night that turns out to fit Sketch #1. It's quite uncanny that it was done in the ad colours too. Sandy and Dee maybe you have been sending vibes through the boards to point us in this direction ?!
So for Sketch 1 - Cricut used was Elegant edges for the frames. I'm working on the inside of the card that will have more cricut and will post it later on this week.
The second card is for Sketch 3. I had the afternoon off today so I had a lot of fun experimenting with this design. The flower was made from Accent Essentials following Tim Holtz grunge flower technique. I inked the edges with Walnut stain distress ink before curling, pinching and shaping the petals. The button is an old one from a stash from my mother-in-law that was passed along to me. The rectangle flower frames were made on the Gypsy welding flowers from Accent Essentials with a rectangle. They were cut on manila cardstock, then inked with Vintage Photo distressed ink, then Glimmer mist was added and finally each little pearl.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's work and hope to start Sketch 2 soon!
