Shelby - Congrats to your daughter that is wonderful news!

Here's my card for Sketch #2. Cricut used - Wrap It Up for the baby stroller and Elegant Edges for the round frame.

It's a card for my niece - she's saying it is a girl. I'll be making a baby boy card too (in case BigGrin)

Hello everyone... I'm sorry, I'm just getting on now. It's been a couple of busy days with the kiddies

I just updated our link: RAQ's Card Sketch Challenge over in Consider a Challenge section. Please add our link to your favorites... easier than browsing through the Cards section Flapper

cstanzione:
thank you for hosting and with such pretty sketches. Your sample card is so pretty and love all those flowers and the pearls

DeeScraps: thanks for the Ad colors, that's a great color combination

lapilipina:
Welcome! I'm very glad you joined us and with such a pretty card. I love the idea of the ribbon going through all the hearts

SandyPalmer:
Oh it's great to see you make a card with the classic black, white, and red colors! Wow on that card... I really like all the different patterned papers and details. The girl is so cute and love that border punch

BingoLady: ooooh what a pretty Valentine card... I love those heart buttons you used and the triple heart stack

Gisele: very pretty card. I really like all the different papers and the the stroller is so cute. Love that flower!

*NanaDonna*: I didn't get a chance to comment on your last card you posted last challenge... lovely job on a lovely card! I really like how you used that sentiment right in the middle to fill up the space and love all those heart cuts

OH, wow, these are all so pretty!

I'm going to learn so much from this forum. I'm a newbie at paper crafting. This was only the 4th card I've made, and I currently only have 2 cartridges for the cricut, which I actually bought for work, so now it's in the office. I'll have to find time after work hours to use it...haha!

I hope some day to start incorporating inks and stamps. And all the cool stuff you all seem to be doing! For now, I'm keeping it simple with the cricut and some adhesive.

Emelyn - you're doing so well for your 4th card! Glad you're joining in!

Here's my card for Sketch 3. Cricut was used just for the outside frame and Happy Birthday one - both Elegant edges. I tried out another Tim Holtz technique this time using fragment charms. The second picture shows a close-up. Basically you glue a clear fragment charm on the paper of your choice, let it dry and then cut and sand-off the excess and add a brad. I didn't have Glossy Accents for the glue so used dimensional Modge Podge. The paper I used is Graphic 45 A Proper Gentleman collection. It's perfect for my dad's card. Thanks to Sue (Acrossthepond) who inspired me with her stamped image last week.

I haven't used the ad colours yet but will do that for my next one!

I also started with Sketch 3 first... I needed a birthday card and the three rectangles were perfect for my friend's name

Sketch 3 in this week's Ad colors

Don Juan - "JOE"
Fabulous Finds - rectangles
Home Decor - fire (flourish)
Pagoda - dragon

Nanadonna – great card! The “fleur-de-lys” speaks to my French heritage. Looks wonderful in the ad colours too!

RAQ – What a wonderful card in the ad colours! Don Juan is a great font for this card! And yes I did buy the TH fragments at Michaels with a coupon.

Here’s my next card – it is sketch #1 but flipped on its side. I hadn’t started out with the background paper with a car but as I made the various elements, it just seemed right. I liked the saying too as this is for one of my dearest friends. Only Cricut used is Ornamental Iron 2 for the happy birthday frame.

Hi Ladies!
Started making my Ad Color card and wasn't sure what I was going to finally end up with....it kind of evolved as I went!!LOL

Sketch Card #3 in the Ad Colors:
"You Rock" - Stamping Cartridge.... I sprayed the cut with Silver Pearl Mist
Corner Stars - Negative cuts from EK Star punch on black border
Gray Frames - Don Juan Cartridge....used white vellum as backing and embossed the frames with "Swirls" CuttleBug folder.
Musical Notes - Metal Brads
