Here we go again... Ok Debbie I started a new thread just for you...BigGrin

If you missed Angie's cards and projects please go back to the closed thread. She did a fantastic job on centerpeices,
Banners, cards and gift bags...

Way to go AngieBigGrin

Well I spent all afternoon trying to use cardstock I would never think of using... plaids!!

Since they were kids cards they did come out cute if I do say so myself. Used Birthday Bash for most of the cards.

Tuesday.. hair cut day then out to lunch with Patty's friends they want to see the place for the shower they want to find out if they can put decorations on the walls!! I don't think so but it won't hurt to ask.

Joy... I hope your done packing by now...

Sharon .. I hope you feel better the care giver usually gets sick then everyone else feels better.

Nope. Not done packing! Laugh

I saw that TBBM 2 and it looks AMAZING! I do like 3D projects. Love making flowers with Flower Shoppe and Boxes with Sweet Tooth. I did take some pics. I will get them posted in a few days.

Thank you everyone for the compliments. I do enjoy the party stuff.

Where are you guys seeing the new carts? Are they the Hello Thursday ones? I didn't see a TBBM 2 on there. I wasn't so impressed the cartridges this time around. Also, is it me, or does it seem like there isn't much on them lately? Maybe when I look at them on that link I'm not seeing everything. I think I'll keep my money for the older carts.

You know I think about our trip to the States at least 5-6 times a day. I have several lists going for what we want to do, what I want to buy and who we want to see.

I'm finishing the laundry today. I might take the kids to the mall to just walk around. I need to buy a few more things befreo the baby comes, just not sure what. I did buy diapers the other day. Boy did that feel weird. Jamal just laughed at me when I told him. Kind of bothered me. We need to get ready.

I'm a little miffed at him by the way, he tells me he keeps forgetting I'm pregnant. His family asks how I'm doing and he has to stop and think for a minute why thier aski9ng, then remembers and says I'm fine. Not like he ever asks how I'm doing.

Jamal is going to Bangkok Feb 12th-16th. I told him to go, I'd be fine. I have a friend who is willing to take me to the hospital if I need to go. Jamal's family will take the kids also if I need to.

Nancy I wish I lived closer to you all too, we would have so much fun.

I better go, the laundry isn't going to fold itself.

Nancy, thanks for starting the new thread, it makes it so much easier to read when using my phone. I always read all the posts but if I am doing so on my phone then I am not able to reply to anything and by the time I get on my laptop I can't remember what I was going to replyCrying I am always worried if I reply to one person and forget to reply to something of somebody else I might hurt their feelings. Please be assured that I would never purposely not comment on something BigGrin

Thanks for the new thread!

Where do you visit in the States Angie? When is your next trip over?

All I can think about is my cruise that is coming up fast! I know I will have such a great time with my Mum on that cruise!

Sharon we go to AZ. That's where my family is. The company Jamal works for pays for our plane tickets every 2 years. Tickets are so expensive that we just go when they pay.

Debbie, I don't mind if he goes. To tell you the truth, I don't really want him there, I'd prefere he stay with the kids until I give birth. I think it's going to stress Adam out knowing I'm in the hospital and he would be more comfortable if he was in his own house and not at one of his aunts houses. I think that's what Jamal has in mind, to just have one of his sisters take the kids to her house. I would prefer the kids go to a freinds house where they are more comfortable. I guess we need to discuss these things. Jamal tends to not listen to me when I talk to him.

Nancy thanks for starting a new thread, let's see how many newbies we get and then never come back. That seems to happen each time.

No crafting for me today, the propane heater ran out of propane so it's really cold. My friend came over with her girls to play and then we went to McDonalds. Laundry still not foldedCrying

What should I make next? I think something for a birthday party. I really want to make a bunch of stuff to put up on my blog to sell. I while back, I set a blog to sell my stuff and I put teh address on the business cards I gave out at the holiday bazzar in Dec. I wonder if anyone went to it and checked it.

Gotta go make dinner, not really hungry though.

Angie... As long as you have someone to take you to the hospital.. are you going natural birth??

Your projects were awesome you did a great job you should be proud of yourself..

What do men know I could be sick as a dog and someone will ask DH how I am and he always says she is fine!!

Hi girls....

Angie...you take care, I'm worried about you!

I broke a dish this morning. Not a good start when it was barely 6am. I have a hugely busy day today. I have cards to drop off at a store, pictures to pick up, lunch with a friend, clothes to donate, a gift to buy.....yipes! I'm tired just thinking about it.

I made a blackberry cobbler last night. DS hated it, didn't like the seeds. I'm not a huge fan, but I have had some berries in the freezer that I needed to use up. DH loves it, he'll eat most of it.

I'm getting the epidural for sure. When I was having Alya the Dr. decided I wasn't pushing hard enough so she had them turn off the epidural. She wasn't my favorite person after that. Currently the baby is feet down, so I'm hoping he/she will turn on thier own soon. The Dr says he/she should be head down by now. Wish me luck.

On another subject, I can say that not knowing if it's a boy or girl is really not as much fun as I thought it would be. I want to get a coming home from the hospital outfit but not sure what to get. Guess I could go with yellow or green.

Angie will you be near Scottsdale AZ. ???

Well cold here today...but sunny and no snow in site!!

I am looking forward to going to lunch today with Patty's friends their actually coming on their lunch hour from their jobs so it will be a quick lunch then some errands..

I want to start buying Pampers each week so she will be fully stocked so no buying crafts for a while..

I have so much now that I want to start using my stash.

I had these 4x6 stacks of DCWV. I find I get more card use out of them and so worth it especially if you catch a sale or use a coupon.

I just opened a stack I had for sometime and that is when I noticed the plaid glittered cardstock but I did make 2 cards very simple also using my bakery twine that I have had for sometime and never used.

I will post pic's of my Valentine Cards and these simple cards.

I thought if I am making 4 prizes for the baby shower I want to keep the cards simple using BB and CAC and then I will make some adult cards.

I thought 4 cards in a pack should be fine. Then I will decorate the front of the stack of cards. Or maybe just wrap in pretty ribbon

Joy... I like Nick's new avatar...

Good morning, gals . Just a quick check-in.

Someone needs to invent self-folding laundry. Or a dryer that drys and folds.

Angie, your time is coming fast! They were showing on the news this morning a 14 pound baby! The little guy was half-grown!!!

Sonya, blackberry cobbler sounds DELICIOUS!!! Warm, with ice cream.

Debbie, I read all of the posts and forget what I have read, too! LOL

Nancy, I LOVE plaid, but in fabric. In paper, it sounds interesting. I love to sew with plaid fabric, with the challenge of matching the plaids.

I gave up on my DD she doesn't want to know the sex of the baby.. I am getting such feedback from people why doesn't she want to know!!!

Years ago when I had her we had no idea boy or girl and everything at my baby shower was yellow and green .... trust me after a couple of months of dressing the baby in yellow and green you get sick of the colors quickly!!

Patty's baby is also feet down!!! I am hoping it will turn soon the baby's head is right under her rib cage and she is really unconfortable....

Patty is going natural as I did...

I didn't find out with my son. I love surprises, I felt like it was the best/last of the great surprises. We had a few clothing items ahead of time, but for our shower got most of the "tools" (not the right word, but you know what I mean). When he was born, we were flooded with boy clothes, so it worked out well.

I felt I had to know with my pregnancy. We had a room for them but it had wallpaper on the walls with little violets or pansies, all over it! So we said if it boys we need to decorate the room. Otherwise we can keep it the same. Thank heavens it was 2 girls as we didn't need to decorate! LOL

Crap, just realized that I better get some cute valentines cards all ready for the girls! I am going to be away for Valentines Day & they will need them for school! Maybe I will play with my Imagine while my Mum is here & whip out a bunch of them. I have Imagine More Cards, so that should have something cute on there for valentines day I would think?!

Well I have my tonsillectomy surgery date now... March 14th. Very nervous about that. Heard for adults it is severe pain for about 2 weeks. Not looking forward to that. But excited that it could help with snoring & mouth breathing!

Nancy I'll be near Scottsdale, it's a suburb of Phoenix as well as Mesa where my parents live.

I guess I feel the same as Sonya, it's the last of the great surprises. At first I was thinking girl, but now I'm kind of thinking boy. So who knows. It will def. be a surprise.

Sonya I'm not to worried if thebaby comes while he's gone, there's nothing I can do about it.

Sharon I hope the surgery helps with the snoreing. Jamal keeps telling me I snore so bad and stop breathing in my sleep. So after the little one comes I'm def going to get it checked out. People have told me to sleep sitting up, but apparently I still snore and worse. I say apparently becuase I don't know if I snore or not, I'm asleepBigGrin

I agree we'd love to meet new people.

I forget that there are lurkers here, I guess in my mind it's just us that read it.

We had fun at the Restaurant. Patty's GF's asked if they could decorate the walls in the room for the shower and luckly one of the walls is covered in stone really pretty so he said you can decorate these walls.

They are making centerpieces with floating candles and they are making diaper cakes so I said I would make the baby cuts for the cakes..

Another thing to add to my list.

The room fits 75 people so even if I have 45 or 50 I am ok.

The food was great...

Then went to have my hair cut, now my hair really grew long she said to me we are keeping it long? I said yes lets bring it up to my shoulders with a blunt cut all around this way one length easy to maintain and I want it to touch my shoulders

Well I don't know who the heck I was talking to but boy did she cut me short!! Unfortunatly when I remove my glasses I can't see what she was doing...

I said remember I don't want it short!!

OMG!! when I put my glasses on was I in shock..Mad

I told her I did like it but it was way too short... My DH loved it says it makes me look younger I said you say that know matter what short or long he says I look younger so which is it!!!

It does look a lot healthy once I get it colored on Thursday I am sure it will look even more healthy.

Then went to do errands it was such a beautiful day.

Hate it when you go in for one thing, explain it & get something else at the hair salon!

I showed my hairdresser (who I normally LOVE!!) a photo of me from about 6 years ago & said I wanted to go back to how my hair was in the photo. She said I needed to highlight it all over. Well now I am kinda dark blonde all over. Not what I look like in the picture, unless she is seeing something I am not!

Showed DH the photo & said do I look like that now & he said yes, so he is agreeing with the hairdresser. LOL

Oh well, it is just a change, but getting used to it. It will look pretty in the sun when I am down in the Bahamas!

Hi.

Angie I am waving at your parents! Well not really but close.

Here you showed her a photo and you still didn't get what you want!!!

For the prices we pay the customer should get what she wants..

I am so annoyed at this point, as my mom would say "What is done is done it will grow" It took me 2 yrs. to get the lenght I wanted with trims along the way but this is way too short..

Sonya we would love to see your Cricut creations ... I don't always get to the card sections!!!

I am still trying to post in the circle not that I am in there that often it is a very small group of gals who post..

Well today it is gloomy and raining but that is because it is bowling day...

Patty called last night she has another party to go to in March so she said was hesitant to ask me if March 18th was OK for her to RSVP she has a party March 3rd. and now the 18th....

She wants her shower to be a surprise but if people keep having parties in March and I keep saying yes that is fine you can respond Yes then she will know it isn't in March!!!

I think Thursday night we will finally have my son in law belated Birthday dinner we are going to our favorite Italian Restaurant then coming back for his birthday cake that we have had in the freezer it is ice cream so we are ok...

Patty said hse had these strange pains and called the doctor he said because the baby is standing in you belly feet first she is getting pressure on her bladder.

She has a appt. on Sat.

Well off to have breakfast.

Have a great day

Nancy, stop adding to the guest list, you haven't got enough thank you cardsBigGrin LOL LOL

Just think with shorter hair it is quicker to colour LOL that is awful that the hairdresser did not listen to what you wanted.
