Well I am posting a bit early because I need to get some sleep. I will do my sample cards tomorrow, because I didnt have time today. Make one or all four. It is up to you.. the only rule is to follow as closely as you want, post your cards to share and have FUN.

sketch #1- I would love to see a cricut cart border on this card. There are quite a few carts that contain them now. To locate them, you can go to www.mycutsearch.com and type in borders

Sketch #2

sketch #3 would love to see the main cut on this one popped up.

EXTRA CREDIT.. need more Christmas cards?

Have a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunnie - Great sketches and thanks for the push to use boarders, I quite often look at them and wonder what I'd use them for as they only come out about 5 1/2 inches. Well I'll give it a go.

Dee lovely ad colours.

Sunnie thanks so much for hosting at this busy time of yearLaugh
I love the sketches and I love the direction this challenge in going to i.e. adding those
ectra twists instead of just sketches. I am not sure that I will have time to play this week but I am
sure going to give it a try.

So so much going on in the next week, I am excited beyond belief as my grandson comes
home on leave tomorrow from the Navy for the first time since he left tomorrow. He will be
proposing to his girlfriend and be spending the first Christmas with his daughter. It will be such a fun
and busy time as I know he will want to come here for dinner A LOT while he is home.
It is a BIG surprise as his girlfriend dose not thinks he is coming home till Saturday. fun fun fun
surprise. We decorated today.

Also Turlebug's grandson will be home on leave 12/27 from the Navy and her grandson and mine
are very close so it is nice that they will be able to spend a couple of days together.

This will be a very very special and strange (for lack of a better word) for me since my two children
(daughter 40 son 41) will be moving to Colorado the first of the year and with Nate being in the Navy'getting married and fiance moving with him with Emma and another grandson going into the Navy in February it
will probaboy be the last Christmas we will be all together in a very very long time. Crying Crying Crying
So sorry for carrying on but well had to put it out there somewhere.

Also we will be making tamales on Saturday, generally about 20+ dozen. Nate (Navy grandson) wants
to take a few dozen back to Groton CT with him.

i will try and peak in over the next few days ans and hope to get to make at least one card otherwise I will go through withdrawals LOLFlapper

Sunnieday - Card #1 is very pretty, like the lacey frame, colors and matching pearls. Card #2, nice color combo and yellow center. Like the barely-there BG paper. Card #3, very nice in the AC, like the Happy Birthday in a half circle and cute butterfly accent.

cstanzione - Card #1 is very pretty, love the gold shiney frame and how the border cut looks like crosses. Nice shading on the Dove and the BG paper is well suited for this special card

NanaDonna - Sorry we had to miss the big engagement announcement at the dinner, bet she was surprised! And, sure he was so happy to see everyone. Enjoy his visit, cause the days will fly by sooooooo fast.

BingoLady - Card #1, like the embossing on the sides and on the border, nice Thank You tag and in the AC, too! Card #2 is cute, like the eyes and gold "buttons"on the little skier. Like the BG paper (I have it, also)

Where's everyone!!!!!!??????
Yes, it's a very busy time of the year, but Sunnie took time from her busy schedule to post us some very nice and simple Sketches, PLEASE, let's show her how much we appreciate it. (SORRY, I JUST HAD TO VENT!!)

Hi just thought I would stop in.................thanks Sunnie for hosting during such a very very
busy week. I really really wish I could playing along but it is not looking good. In fact I didn't even play along last weekBlushing Things here are so so very busy. I was in my craft room (by myself) for the first time in
about 5 days an it was only a couple hours. I was almost lost on what to do first LOLDrool
On Friday my grandson came home on leave from the Navy, it was a surprise to his girlfriend, it was so very hard for me to keep the secret as she spent almost everyday here with me last week.Scared
Well it all turned out she was very surprised she had no idea he came home a day early.
At the dinner he had the waitress (he used to work there so he knows everyone) bring a plate out
with a red rose on it and the ring on the rose. he got down on his knee and proposed to her........of course she said YES Wub It was very special. Then they were all over yesterday/last night and we made 25 dozen tamales..............................OMGOhMyGod OhMyGod And I haven't even gone Christmas shopping yet!
With my grandson home and Christmas coming up I don't even think I will be able to play next week. YIKES, it takes me way to long to make a card LOL I wish I could sneak one in in the few hours I have to play.Scared Scared
So instead of a card I thought I would share this picture with you. It is take shortly before the proposal Wub

This was just before he proposed.

I will be back to play along soon as I can. This Christmas will be a very special one for us. But you can bet I will be checking in on all of the creations you make.

Hi to everyone.
Just going to post and run but will be back tomorrow to leave comments.

I still need Christmas cards so I have tried to use the sketches. The first one just uses the CB and the second for one lady to give to two babies. Used sketch 2 and 4 I think.

Thanks Sunnie for hosting, it's real busy for everyone but rest asured we all come to look.

Hello everyone... I'm leaving for my cruise in a few hours and I get back on the 24th...

... in case I don't get a chance to log on

SandyPalmer is going to host for us this coming Wednesday... however, since it is Christmas week, if you decide not to host and instead give everyone a week break and host the week after that instead, I don't mind and I doubt anyone else would mind either

We'll leave this decision up to you! I'll try to play when I get back. Thanks Sandy!

BingoLady:
LOVE the embossed borders on the first card, that caught my eyes right away... very pretty card. Ski man is very cute and LOVE LOVE the googly eyes

sunnieday: wonderful job on the Eagle books... very professional!

*NanaDonna*: thanks for sharing the picture... what a happy moment

Turtlebug: this is so cute! My daughter would absolutely go bananas for this... she LOVES everything chimp. The print up top matches the embossed paper below so perfectly. Great card! Very elegant butterfly card. I really like the single jewel. Beautiful tag card... LOVE everything flower, so you hit my weakness here

AcrossThePond:
WOW! Beautiful set of Christmas cards. LOVE that embossed Christmas tree... I'll have to find that for myself. Cute cute Santa card... LOVE all the glitter
