Hi Ladies I almost forgot I was hosting this week been busy this week so instead of doing my own sketches this week I chose some from the internet That I thought were interesting so this week I will be playing along with you all too. I chose 3 and then I am gonna throw one more in for extra credit of which I have that one done which was actually the add colors for last week.

Extra credit will be a stair stepper card of your choice anything goes I tried my first one this week and I love them can't wait to make more there so cool. you can find directions for them on you tube I don't know how to link it so if someone know how please feel free to link it for everyone otherwise just go to you tube and type in stair stepper card.

Ok here are the 3 sketches for this week have fun and enjoy no stressing
LOL .

I'm adding the cards I do as I go along to the sketches here so you don't have to look all over the place for them.

Sketch #1- all cricut paper from DCWV- camels from inspired heart cart also star- and palm trees from new testment cartand also the add colors for this week

Sketch #2- is just a card with silloute from A Childs Year Cart, and spellbinders die and some lace and MS punch.

Sketch #3- Again using A Childs Year Cart and spellbinders die and MS punch and ribbon and sticker for sentiment.

Great sketches. I like that they are simple, easy to see, and they look easy to adapt to any kind of card.

Your color card for last week was GREAT! That's such a great cartridge, but I haven't used mine yet.

It certainly is a busy time for me, plus we have some kind of a "bug" going around. I think we got it from our granddaughter (7 months) who was here for Thanksgiving.

Right now I'm making some party decorations and then next week things should get back to normal here.

Here's the add colors for this week:

see with the colors on them. I hope to get to play along this week need to get my Christmas cards

Thanks for the great comment guys I love that card im gonna make another today .

MaggieKlein1 and NanaDonna scraplift away thats the best feeling when someone wants to scraplift you know you did a good jobLOL .
The card is made with Nifty Fifty Cart and a couple of stickers I got from Joann's Store had them for a while and always wanted to do a 50's card. Had the cart for a while but never used it so this is a first for me.

Dee-thanks for the add colors love the colors you chose my second favorite colors to use blues can't wait to get started.

I've decided to make one card for each cart that I own so I can actually say I used every one this should take me for ever seen as I have like 130 carts but I promised myself I would do that so I decided to mak each one a stair stepper card cause I just love the way they look.BigGrin

NanaDonna thanks for posting the links. I'll have to go check it out.

Hello everyone! I had a great time in Vegas... came back this past weekend and still having a bit of trouble logging on. I think hubby fixed the problem, but we'll see.

Anyway, I'm so sorry I haven't been around... my youngest daughter, Zenica (she's the one that likes all the monkeys) broke her arm that same weekend I got back from Vegas. We spent so many hours overnight (and dragged on to the morning) between two emergency rooms. We went to the local one and they didn't have an Ortho on staff (the on-call wouldn't answer his calls) so the ER doctor transferred us to another hospital 30 minutes away

She broke her upper right arm very close to the shoulder attachment so it's actually considered a "broken shoulder" and because of that... they can't put a cast on her. She has to wear a sling strapped to her torso so she has no movement on the right arm... only way it would heal is to immobilize the whole arm. She's only 9 years old so I'm back to helping her with putting her clothes on and off. She can still go to the bathroom and do her other grooming with her left arm...BigGrin YAY! However, she also can't use her right hand... so I'm doing all her writing homework for her Blushing ... she's actually loving that part because she said my handwriting is very neat

In case, I'm not able to log in again... AcrossThePond will be hosting for us next week... thank you!

cstanzione: thank you for hosting this week

BingoLady: thank you for hosting last week and I'm so sorry I missed all of it!

DeeScraps: thank you for always posting our Ad colors (I got a lot to catch up on)

I've was able to see everyone's beautiful work in the last couple of weeks... LOVE them all! Thank you everyone for continuing to participate

Please be patient with me and know I will be back! I haven't forgotten any of you and miss you all very much. I also haven't forgotten that I'm way behind all the sketches! I got some done before Vegas but the MB wouldn't let me on to post them so now, I have 12 cards to make to catch up on all the sketches including this week's!

Thanks so much for Hosting this week. I love the sketches and your stepcard is SO COOL!!!

DeeScraps
- Thanks for posting the AC early, and I love this color combo....so it is the first I made, for my #1 sketch card. I think the colors are great for a guy card.

My Sketch #1 Card in the Ad Colors:
Sentiment: Beyond Birthdays
Diamond Cut: Stamping Cartridge
Embossing: Houndstooth
Used ribbon for the top/bottom, added a brass brad to the cut.

Nana Donna, Ah so pretty I like the table and the mirror. What cart are they from.

Vicki, Hey nice way of using those scraps, did a great job on both cards.

Turtlebug, nice very nice, I really like the way you used the ad colors.
For me this have been hard colors to work with.

Hi Ladies!

Here is my Sketch #3 Card:
Image : Clip Art from computer
Embossing: Holly Cuttlebug folder
Sentiment: Stamp from Michael's
Red Scalloped Oval: Lacey Labels
White Scalloped Oval: Nestabilities
Stars: Celebrations Cartridge
I threaded the silver ribbon through the red oval and used same ribbon for making the bows and the bottom strip. I used silver gel pen on the ornament string, candle holders collar, tree and candy cane. Although the clipart was already colored, I went ahead and colored everything again with water-color pencils.

cstanzione - Card #1 is so pretty, love the BG paper and the image is beautiful. Perfect Ad Color card!

sunnieday - Card #1 is adorable, the Penguin is so cute. Card #2 is vry nice in the AC, like the snowy church scenery. Card #3, like the BG paper and the string of lights...which cart is it from?

ShelbyWoo - You have a good teacher, Sandy is awesome with her markers and you are well on your way, too! Card #1, she is so cute, like the bursts of inking around the edges. The ywllow BG paper really compements her dress & socks. Second card, love the stamp, she is so cute. Like how the tree BG paper matches the sentiment exclamation point perfectly! Extra Credit card in the AC is so pretty, those flowers are awesome, like all the printed papers and cute heart bow. Hope my fold card is half as nice as yours, not sure which one I will do.

BingoLady - Card #2, love the red/white color combo. The three column cuts and sentiment are very nice. Like the patriotic look of Card #3, especially the red, white & blue ribbon and brad stars.
NanaDonna - WOW! WOWW!! WOWWW!!! What a great card, LOVE the mirror, candy cane decor, wall paper, floor, presents, Christmas Tree. Oh, did I mention I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the desk and its' cute drawer knobs(are you sure DH didn't make you a miniature desk out of REAL wood with one of those fancy wood-carving machines he has???!!!)LOL LOL Thanks for posting the links for the foldcards, hope to get one made and posted.

VickieBryant - Card #2, very nice in the AC. Like how you mixed the pattern papers, I see we used the same striped paperThumpUp. Very pretty #1 card, love the torquoise color and pretty flowers. Like the panel pattern and how you switched the image and sentiment.

Raquel - Glad to hear you had a good time in Vegas, but sorry to hear of your DD accident, hope she mends in time for Santa!

Izzy - Like the embossing in your Card #1, is it a CuttleBug folder? The colors and button embellishment are very nice. Pretty card!

WOW it is just Thursday night and i have two cards made. Maybe I am getting
pretty good at this thing after all LOLWink

Sketch #1 was a fast card for me, made in about an hour (except for the flower LOL) I had the flower
made for a week or so sitting on my desk waiting to me used. I watched a video on using the
Flower Shoppe cartridge to make this poinsettia

Extra Credit stair step card. All papers and cuts are made using my Imagine and the Snow Angel
cartridge. It was pretty simple, maybe I will make more of these for my Christmas cards This card is also
in the Ad colors

My soon-to-be granddaughter has really taken an interest in my craft room and has been in there
with me while she is here. She is working on a Christmas card for Miss Emma.

Speaking of Miss Emma I thought I would share a current picture of her with all of you
