Well, I couldn't get through to a PC CSR person today. I waited & waited for someone to assist me but finally had to hang-up after an hour & 15 minute wait.
Anyway, I found out today that Cricut.com has a
'knowledge base'. IMHO it is well worth the time to read through all the known issues to find the answer to your question(s).In addition to Mercy's help, I had such
great success in resolving two of my issues reading the KB.
First issue, I didn't realize that I not only had to place a check mark next to my wireless number but also had to click on the 'plug' sign for it to work. When I went back to the home screen, it shows the strength of the wireless connection. Yeah! one issue resolved.
Another
issue resolved is CCR now allows me to select the wireless E2 for cutting.
Wow, when things work, they really work
. I resolved this by reading instructions from the Knowledge base...
1. 'close your E2,
2. pull out the Adapter, &
3. re-insert the adapter'. Note: I had a hard time removing the adapter (so afraid I would break it); I pulled out the adapter & noticed the adapter number was recognized by my computer (Isaw it listed under adapters) and re-inserted it.
4. Turned my E2 on,
5. opened CCR,
6. selected cut, and Voila!... CCR recognized wireless E2.
Before I did all this I researched my PC to make sure both my E2 and Adapter were known components in my PC and they were, that's when I decided to do a little more research and found the knowledge base support.
I was able to make one complete cut. When I attempted to make another cut the darn system sent me that 'bridge error' and closed down. grrrrrrrrr. I'm resolving my issues little by little with Mercy's help and the knowledge base.
HTH someone.
MTA: It would be great if PC listed all issues for one machine in one folder rather than having to view each and every statement for the one issue a customer may have. All the issues for the machines are randomly listed.
Best,
Mary R.
