deboss

These plates do not emboss (make a raised image), they deboss (make a depressed image). Because they are alphabet letters they can not be flipped--it makes the letters backwards.

I agree, you cannot use this as it is advertised...you cannot emboss, which was what I bought it for...totally useless and will return!

Frustrated

False advertisement!! I researched for hours to see what I was doing wrong because my letters would only deboss. Would have taken this back to the store I purchsed them from but lost the receipt. So I'm stuck with the worthless stuff. Not a fan of debossed look. Wished I had goggled this product first.

I wish I had see the previous reviews before I purchased this this item. This item will not emboss as advertised, it will only deboss.
