oh :sigh: i looked on the board BEFORE I synced to check everything then BAM!! i do it and now i see they made a change today. i waited to see that everything was ok before! YOU DO NOT MAKE CHANGES ON A FRIDAY PEOPLE AT PC!!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??????
we uninstalled ds, reinstalled the ds trial version. then, we installed the version i purchased so it's a full blown copy and we registered it.
then, we started g sync it stated there was an update installed the update it complained that a file was in use so we closed the gypsy sync. the install says it completed successfully gypsy says version 1.1 build 0115 is that the new one?
then, gypsy sync doesn't start anymore we receive program stop working pop up. tried to uninstall then reinstall the gypsy sync tried a reboot nothing works......help.......we are on window vista home version 32 bit with up to date service packs
CAN ANYONE SEND ME THE gypsy sync INSTALLER FILE from 11/4 update not the 11/6 update?
you would have this file if you click save when you did the install you don't have it if you just clicked run when you downloaded it.
also, is anyone at pc working on fixing this over this weekend? can anyone put the previous version back on the server for 11/4? Admin Becky you were quick to delete a post but, can you get a quick fix back to the 11/4? Where is the hotline for a weekend on-call fix? thank you
BTW, CallyIberg posted that if you run as administrator it works.

I just tried this and it worked for me - thanks for the advice!
Wow thanks!! I had posted a thread last night on this. My desktop worked but the laptop didn't work. So I just right-clicked and ouila, it is now working. I love these MBs!
The build should be at 0142 or something like that--seems you are a couple updates behind?
I have Vista and mine is working like a charm--I would think that if you were behind updates, it would give you all of them, not just today's? Weird.
There's a new build 0143 that was released on Thursday, Nov. 6th. This update fixed the George linking issue. (The BIG build from Tuesday, Nov. 4th was build 0142.)

"File Conversion Notes: 1) Any *.cut file that is converted to a *.gypsy file that contains images that have been slanted/skewed will not cut properly on the Gypsy. 2) Any *.gypsy file that has multiple layers that is transferred to a PC and opened in CSD will have all the layers combined into a single layer.
