Hey Ladies,
Poppin in tonight to say hi and good night....Welcome truthfully...you're near good people...
Pkay, the indian outfit was cute. DB did a great job on his costume. I wish I could show you my Hubby outfit...Man oh Man... Not that it was x-rated...it was just funny...
Ok bargain shoppers, next time I'll have the smarts and the patience to get a better deal on the shipping. Ask Sharon...I'm not good on looking for sales....
I have one of those old arcade game consoles that has 17 of the old time games (pacman, centipede, dig dug, space invaders., etc) and I love it but could never keep up with the scores. So I made this High Scores Board....
The pic is from my cell phone so, it's not the greatest.... These are all cut files I've been working on.
PS I have a jukebox too...and it's buried under some other stuff. I used it one time and dont care for it.

Hello Everyone!!! I was late getting to work today so NO MB for me during the day today...
Greetings Truthfully! Jump in on and join the fun!
My "G" came today and the first thing I did was make sure it would turn on and function - doing the basic things. So far, so good. I want to play with it tonight so no chatting for me. This is not like the JB that I had in the corner for almost a year before even hooking it up. Nubian, you will LOVE the JB w/DS... I love it and think I'll still love it even with having the "G"...
Okay... a snack is calling my name.
Sumaiyah, I remember those days in school - 6 and 9 hours, teaching during the day, parenting and "wifeying", cleaning house... a bit much but I am GLAD it is OVER! Now for a PhD...
PKay... brother hooked it up and succeeded in frightening me... A Sistah's heart can only take so much. Tonya... you and Helen can have the board tonight, keep it lively!

Cassie, yeah I was surprised that the G's screen was bigger then what I envisioned too. But...DS+laptop=no money spent LOl! Hopefully I'll have SCAL soon too. That's really been the hold up on my creativity -- not having SCAL. I've got a million designs in my mind, but I need SCAL to do most of them. Lots of different fonts that I need that I can't use with DS! Have fun with your new toy!!!
Hey Helen! Thanks for the safe travel wishes. We made it home with little trouble...especially leaving downtown DC at 5:40 p.m.!
Wife, sorry about your G! Oh no!!!! And after waiting for it to ship and arrive! Did DS get in touch with PC? Were they able to fix it for you? Was it simply you being confused with the buttons like Pkay suggested? I hope that it was something simple that you were able to fix without sending it back!!
What is everybody up to tonight? We didn't get home until after 9 p.m., so I know ain't doing nothing scrap related tonight except post here and surf the MBs and blogs. DSL still out at the house  Do you know how mind boggling it is to use my cell phone every night for Internet connection???? Do you know how slow that is compared to DSL/other broadband? I mean don't get me wrong...it is much faster than dial up but I'm used to my TRUE broadband speeds! WWWWWWAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well...I take classes online and my school is in Indiana -- so absolutely NO need to ever enter a classroom. Tests/exams all online. That's the only way I'm able to go to school -- it would NEVER work in my schedule if I had to attend physical classes. And one day I hope to be a PhD too...just got to get that darn BS first LOL!!! Well...as the book I'm writing indicates, school is just an interest of mine, not a necessity. Prolly why at 43 I'm still in school! Think I'm a Junior now...but don't hold me to it LOL!!! Have a GREAT evening playing with that G!!

Pkay, How's Miss Sunshine? My Big Man used to have an asthma attack every-other-week literally. Was bad enough that his pedi used to make us double his meds in March every year no matter what. Starting March 15th every year we just automatically gave him double the dose. You must realize that he was already on adult strength meds (Flovent, Singulair, Claritan, and the one you put in the nebulizer who's name escapes me right now) DAILY...
I pray Miss Sunshine is on the mend and will get better real soon!

Thanks ladies for the compliments on our Halloween costumes. I tell my brother everyday he is missing his calling. He need to be decorating/designing something for somebody!
Miss Sunshine is better today. Still taking breathing treatments every 3 hours but the coughing has decreased alot.
Maiyah - you are right about the meds. Her pedi had me doing that last year so I think I am going to do it again this winter.
Shelly - Love the scoreboard....too cute.
I am up late - for me - making a card with my new carts. I had a duh moment with Snow Friends cart. I was trying to dress a snowman in a outfit that would not fit. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong after 3 cuts. The snowmen are lined up with their accessories below them. I was trying to mix and match.

I forgot to tell you all that I decided to "let it go" with my church goer that owes me for the wordbooks.
The message we got Sunday made me realize two things....1) She KNOWS she owes me and 2) She will reap what she sows. Pastor preached on "Owing God" - He said when you short change God that you will not get your full blessing. That was an "ah ha" moment for me. I cannot continue to try to run her down after/before church just to get what is owed to me. She will pay for it in the long run....maybe not to me but she will pay for it.

Thanks for the greetings ladies. I just got back from a trip to the nickelodeon hotel in orlando. My daughter just turned 3 and is in love with Dora. It was well worth it. I haven't scrapped in weeks so maybe now I will have a little motivation.
