Okay..it seems I have sparked some interest with a couple friends who are on the cricut MB and a couple who are not..so while I have asked 2 people on here for their loved one's info..it seems I have a few people who would LOVE to "adopt" a Marine as well...so if you don't mind someone other than me please let me know and I can see if I can match a couple people up for the holiday.

Just wanted to say thank you very much! Our daughter is a Marine. Right now she's in Pensacola Fl going though a aviation electrician course. Not sure where she'll end up. Her older brothers in the Navy and headed for Iraq shortly but luckily will only be there 6 months.

As a Mother of Marine, I think what you are doing is great!! My daughter just came back from Afghanistan, so I won't give you her address. Just wanted to say as a Navy Vet and Marine Mom, THANK YOU for thinking of the troops that are currently in harms way!! Also, thank your hubby for his service!

What a wonderful idea! My DS is a Marine, but is stateside now. I know he had kids he served with that did not get any support from anyone. Thank you for your generous spirit. I know how much it will matter to those who are "adopted."

this a great thing you are doing. I have a brother who is a marine and will thankfully be stateside for the holidays but will be leaving to an undisclosed location come the first of the year. The sad part is that he just got married and his wife is pregnate with twins and the babies will be born while he is gone he doesnt know when he will be home either.
