Thank you everyone for all the wonderful comments on my cards. They are very much so appreciated.
Beautiful job from everyone that participated. I'm so psyched to get started on the next challenge... hoping Julz<3 will post tonight since I'm not a morning person and I know I'm going to keep checking tonight.

Now that you mentioned it... I looked at the second picture again and I can see the deep color (still looks a bit on the pinkish/fuschia side though) 
Julz<3: wonderful job on the acorns, love the double-sided ribbon... this card = NOT ugly. Great layouts... I like how personalized they are with the handwritten journals. My handwriting tends to change as my mood change so I prefer to print everything out from the computer. I'm guessing you're one of the younger girls in the pink t-shirt and the other younger girl is Saundra?
I can't wait to see your sketches! Post late tonight for us super late owls! LOL!
Suevan911: Gorgeous job on this... at first glance it looked like a real quilt! I guess that's what you were going for and you did it. Love the papers you used.

thank you! i've done a few layouts where i've printed the journal out, but i usually just write it 'cause im too lazy to go type it out. lol.
oh. yes i am the girl in the pink tee. i was actually hoping no one would guess, because thats a bad pic of me!  but, no, my mom is actually not in any of those pictures. the other 2 girls are my 2 best friends, Megan and Lydia. My mom is in a couple of the pix going in the scrapbook, so maybe if i use it for one of the sketches, you can see!

julz love that card btw and am impressed with the bows love that 2 sided ribbon! :)
ok here is my last one i am sneaking in! :) hehehe its a wedding card for a dear friend that is going to be married on saturday! can't quite get the gorgeous look down like you guys have on this sketch 3 but i will keep trying! LOL! :)
thanks again for all who were able to make cards and layouts AND for those of you that couldn't there is always next time! :) hehehe oh and for those that got to come and comment thank you for that as well!

I will have to comment on everyone's cards late tomorrow night, as I need to get to bed soon, but I just finished my cards. So here they are. Sketch # 1, no cricut. It sorta looks like the sketch, but not.
