Can u please explain why there is no technical support number to call and speak to someone as they walk us through the issues.  We pay enough for these g****** machines.  I have 2 Expressions 1 Little Bug, My Gypsy and 2 Cuttlebugs. For there to be no one to speak to, to fix problems. These machines cost too much for no support. I love my machines. Now I want some phone support.

I am so frustrated. I can't get the Sync program to run no matter what I try. It downloads fine but then doesn't work. Someone suggested running as administrator and that doesn't work either. I have been working on this since last night and dont know what to do now.

Yes, I have tried other ports. My cricut has always worked fine with my computer. I was able to update my gypsy once. after trying several times and now it cannot see it again. Are you sure it could not be a bad cable? Please help me if you can.

Ok, I have never done this before, so if I am doing this wrong let me know. I have the gypsy and finally got it to sync and registered. I have not had time to play with it at all. I keep reading where there are updates for it. I do not have the George cart or DS. Do I need to do any of the updates for it, now? If I do, please tell what I need to do in simple terms. I also would like to know, since I do not have DS, would it be to my advantage to get DS to learn how to use the gypsy? TIA Karen

Any camera cable with a miniUSB on one end and a regular flat USB can be used to sync the G.  The one from my Canon camera works.

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Could not load type 'DeviceServices.AbortClass' from ****embly 'DeviceServices,Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral,PublicKeyToken=null'.

I uploaded stamped, and I thought it was successful, but it didn't turn green in the list like the rest of mine. when I tried to reload it, it said it was linked to a gypsy with a different seiail number than mine. This is impossible. It must be that particular font!

I know  with our embroidery software, we have to turn off the adminstrative service that is found in your virus protection. That way it allows the software to download. I do not know if this may help or not, but would not hurt to turn it off till you get it loaded. Also, I had to get some different firmware when I tried to register mine, but I got that as a message. I am also running Vista (Home Premium) but have not had any problems downloading the Gypsy Sync program or syncing the G.  Some have gotten .net update issues but I have not experienced that since I always have Windows automatically install any recommended or critical updates.  I did have a problem cutting with G after PC's first attempt at an update for CDS and G.  But the newest update (11/4/09) seems to have fixed that.  Guess I've been one of the lucky ones.  And I never turn off my firewall to accommodate any software download or install.

I have a MAC and did the upgrade on my gypsy there( Version 1.2 [Build 0143]). When I try to update my CE is giving me an error - Gypsy cannot upgrade your cricut. Gypsy will try again.

I also have DS and try to update my cricut from the software, no luck either.

I cannot call CS until Wednesday afternoon

After I updated my G with new updates my cricut doesn't recognize my G. The Cricut tells me I need to connect my G or cart and the G states the Cricut update didn't work. I even tried to update my original personal cricut and got the same message. Please help!!!! I am using a Mac, are there any issues with Mac's?

I haven't been able to cut since Friday night. I am sooooooo frustrated.

Thank you.

I need tech support. My gypsy stopped communicating with my Cricut and my computer. It has worked up until now and I had the lates update successfully now not sure what to do but basically the port on the Gypsy is not working. I have tried everything. I have blown on it, reset it and every thing else mentioned here. It didnt happen right after a update so I dont think its related to the updates. I think its a bad port.
