I had sent 6 emails to support@Cricut.com as per instructions in the contact help and till today nov. 16, 2008 I haven't received a reply from Cricut so today I decided to posted it because maybe someone had the same problem as me or maybe one of the managers will read this and will help me so I'm praying for a miracle.
This is one of the messages that I sent:
Last December 2007 I sent the Cricut Mail-in-rebate get a free cartridge when you buy 2 from your favorite retailer I mailed the receipts from Joan Fabrics, the original rebate forms and a check for payment of postage and handling for the amount of $14.95 and you cashed the check.
Well today August 28, 2008 I haven't received my free cartridge I would like to know the status of my rebate since you said it will take 4 to 6 weeks or did you mean 4 to 6 months???So enclosed is my information so you can verify the status of it. At least if they don't want to follow the offer then they should rembuirsed back my $14.95 check?I 'm sorry if I sound rude but if that happens to you would you feel the same way I feel and also is hurting so much because I love the products and everythig here and I still cant believe they stabbed me in the back.Well I hope someone replied to tell me what's going on....Thanks for reading my post and I still praying to receive at least the offer.

Oh wow!  Sorry that you haven't received your free cartridge.  I personally don't know about this, but something similar happened to me when they had a promotion with buying cartridges and receiving a free DS.  I mailed everything in with original receipts and I still haven't received my DS.

Have you tried calling customer service?  I plan to call them tomorrow to see what is going on.  Good luck.

Hey as the above post mentioned I also did the promotional with buying the 3 cartridges from Michaels and you get the Design Studio free.  I sent my rebate along with everything that was required of me.  I did this in July as soon as the promotion began.  I also never heard anything from them.  I emailed them and still no reply.  I then called them about a week or so ago and the girl I talked to told me she would email me the information on the activation code I needed. She said it would take a few minutes, maybe 10 minutes or so. Then about 6 hours later when I still had not received anything from them. I called again.  This time they gave me the numbers over the phone.  This is when I also found out that we don't receive the little cable to connect the Cricut to the computer nor the mouse pad or any kind of instructions on the use of the DS.  She said just use any computer cable, and it will work.
I felt as though the company did not hold up to their end of the promotional program.  I feel as though I only received part of what was promised.  I don't think they are totally honest.  I do think that it is a scam personally.  You go to the customer service link on their website and it has a place for "issues"  and you send the email of the issues and you never get a reply.  Worse company I have found for customer satisfaction and service.  Love my Cricut Expressions but am highly disappointed with the way they treat the customer.

ABOUT THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING DID THEY SAY THAT YOU HAVE TO SEND THEM MONEY TO PAY FOR IT?  BECAUSE I PAID $14.95 FOR S&H AND THE SAME WEEK THAT I SENT THEM ALL THE RECEIPTS AND UPC AND CHECK THEY CASHED IT  BUT NOW IN DEC.23TH IS GOING TO BE A YEAR AND YES I HAVE SEND THEM 6 EMAILS AND NO RESPONSE BACK AND CALLED AND NOTHING THEY PUT ME IN HOLD FOR A VERY LONG TIME. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!!! BUT I LOVE  MY CRICUT I DON'T THINK IS FAIR THAT THEY ARE PLAYING LIKE THAT WITH LOYAL CUSTOMERS.

I don't know if it will make you feel any better to have company, but I know 4 women who never received their "free" carts.

I just don't understand all the problems with PC customer service.  It's a very widespread complaint, so it's a real problem with the company and not just a few customers being unreasonable.  PC makes a boatload of money on carts alone; seems to me they could hire/train some CS reps.

I just snet in a promotion for buying the expressions and recieve 2 cartridges free.  Paid $7.95 via credit card for "processing". I did get an ID #.   If I don't receive my cartridges in a timely manner -(they say 6-8 weks - I'll give them 12) I will file a complaint with my CC company.  I do everything online via Credit Card because if you don't receive the item you ordered they will give you a credit back.

I worked retail for a very long time and unfortunately, these types of rebates don't normally go through either the store where you got the rebate or the manufacturer of the actual item you are to receive from the rebate.  They typically hire an outside party to do these types of promotions for them.  Again, this unfortunately ends up impacting the reputation of both companies.  I have had very good customer service with Provo Craft and at Michaels, but i try to stay away from rebates, etc. for these reasons.  If you saved a copy of the rebate form, the number on that form is who you should be calling.  And, call as soon as the shortest timeframe is met (if it says 4-6 weeks call in 3.5) to check on the status.  They count on what is called "the breakage" from folks who don't redeem, etc.  I hope this information helps somehow.

Actually, Provo Craft does many of their rebates in-house. The Robert's cartridge was one of the few that was not. I have stopped participating in their rebates, because they take FOREVER.

And whereas their customer service was one of the things that helped them become a well-known company, they now seem to have forgotten the meaning of the term.

I'm on the same boat as you.  The customer service for this company truly sucks!!  I mailed in my rebated back in 12/8/08 and today I have yet to receive any form of acknowledgement from this company.  I seriously looking into filing a complaint with BBB and several news agencies.  I do realize that it's a "free" ($7.95 processing fee), however it is a very deceptive way to treat their customers.  I have tried their so-called customer support #, but you end up in a never ending loop of options that don't get a live person.  I'm a first time customer to this product and I can tell you, I will not recommend it to anyone ever.
I guess it's too much to ask for someone to at least acknowledge your concerns and requests.  I hope you received your carts.

I haven't received my 2 cartridges either...  I think it is a scam from all that I have read and I am **** mad.  The machine cost quite a lot, and every little bit helps, not to mention, that No one ever responds to you and you can't get through on customer service line, I would suggest buying cartridges on ebay, they are so much cheaper.  Don't deal with provo craft, they are no help whatsoever, it has been 4 months, and still haven't heard from anyone.  I also don't have the original receipt which I would like to have, because we have to send that in.

I'm in the same boat as the ones that mentioned they bought the carts and was supposed to get the DS free. I haven't received anything. After many calls and emails, I still have nothing!

Though it took FOREVER and customer service was awful - I too tried numerous times on the phone and emailed a ton of times.... I did end up recieving my two free cartridges for buying a cricut and being a teacher...... Not a scam, but Im pretty sure if you don't become an utter pain in their butt, you get no action.

I have always received in a timely manner, the 2 free carts with last BF Expression purchase, plus the $100 Cricut.com credit for the Your Story purchase, plus another rebate/or cartridge that I can't remember.

The problem I am having now is that I placed two orders right after midnight MST, and I haven't received a confirmation, and I can't figure out where to look for an order history. The charge appeared on my card within five minutes of placing order, but I have no record whatsover, and I ordered the Seasonal Bundle, plus six full carts.

Does anyone know how I can find my order?
