Hello,

I'm working on reorganizing my scrapbooking room & am thinking about getting some of the Jetmax storage cubes. Before making the jump I'm wondering what you think of them if you have them in your room? I would love to hear any reviews or see pictures of how your room is set up. Also who has the best price?

Thanks for your help!

I have 25 of them and I would not have anything else.  I love all of the options you get with arranging them.  I love the fact that if I want to change how my room is arranged  (which I do often) then I just pick them up and move them.  I love that I can take the drawers out to my table and get the suff that I need then take them back and pull another one out.  I am thinking about getting the counter top like someone else posted here and using them as a base.

Just my 2 cents!

I'm totally against the cubes now that I've found cheaper alternatives that are more sturdy and easier to ****emble. Ive spent over 375.00 on my configuration and the table top isn't large enough to really sit down and do a project and I have two table tops stuck together making some of my cubes useless (hard to explain).

Here is a table I wished I would have purchased. The drawers won't give you as much space as 25 of those M's cubes but it will make your most used tools reachable and the table top is big enough to spread a project out.

Its the Ikea Varde. Another favorite is the Pottery Barn style craft table that Pier One carries. I got mine for 150.00 or so.

Both of these are counter height making it possible to stand and scrap. I guess you have to decide whats more important and for me its work space not storage. If you go with JetMax cubes don't get the filing cabinet. It completely fell apart and I think others have had similar experiences

I dont have the JetMax but I have done my scrapbook room with the Crop in Style storage cubes, very similar, and I absolutely love it!  I was never able to get myself organized before and these cubes have allowed me to be.  I have had my room built now for over a year and am still staying organized.  I have several file drawers, a lot of storage drawers and a bunch of open cubes.  I think for me anyway because they look so nice I was more prone to keep it organized.  My system before just looked like shelves full of junk and I didn't really care if I added to the junk look or not.

Here is a bad pic of part of my room.....

I love mine, I will post picture late.  My area is a bit of a mess due to working on a swap right now.

I put that large table in the center because my grandaughters love to come spend the weekend with me and scrap...this way there is room for us to all be around the table together!  And they love that I have all the toys!

I only have 6 of them on an old computer desk that I painted white. I haven't gotten them all utilized how I want to yet, but I SURE am glad for the storage space because this room is our dining room, (no furniture), and no closet. I do have the ones with the slats turned so I can use them for standing my scrap albums in.

I am planning to use the ones with the 4 little drawers for filing my 4x6 photos in. Then when I am working on a page I can just pull the drawer out and find my photos. I have a few of my paper stacks in the one with the three large drawers for the time being.

The one that has the open space and drawer with the dividers in it has my small Xyron on the shelf. I haven't decided what to put in the drawer yet. Maybe my border punches will fit in there.

I am really glad I got them... I bought them ALL with coupons. The first three back when M's had the 50% coupons in the spring and then I got the other three on the recent 40% off total purchase coupon.

I like your space.  I have the long table from Costco and I have those cubes.  Are they too heavy on your table?  Is your table wood?  I'm thinking of trying that but wonder if it would be too heavy.

I have been debating this for a few weeks now.  I was taking up too much space in dd room with my storage, so I took down all 9 (6 in her room; 3 in hallway) cubes along with the 2 desktop pieces.  What I replaced it with, was 2 five shelves bookcases.  I'm still organizing though.  I love the way the bookcases look.  I have those white plastic tiny crates from WM, that I have stored stuff in.

Whenever we move into a house with some room, I was wondering if or how many of the storage cubes I will actually use.  Love the idea of counterheight table.  Thanks for reposting those pics Lisa.

Here is a pic of 12 of the 15 I have.  I really like them.  I also have a tall bookcase (see my blog) I got at Cost Plus World market that is very functional.

It is a piece of counter top from Lowes it seams to hold ok I guess if I had to I could put a cut 2x4 in the middle to support the weight but it seams ok for now

Wow, I'm so impressed with your rooms! I love them. I have a few questions too.

~Scraparazzi~ Do you happen to remember how much your bookshelf was? I LOVE IT!!

GrammyCris- Where did you get the Crop in Style cubes? Are they cheaper than the Jet Max ones?

Thanks!!

I love mine!  Last weekend I cashed in a rain check that I had at M's for 50% off.  They never called me when the cubes were re-stocked so I could wait untill I had saved up the $.
